Tuesday, December 13, 2011. Last weekend, we attended a friend's gingerbread house making party. Another potluck, another fun time with a group of friends. Marshall was thrilled to get to make (eat) TWO houses. Chris and I had another adult-only night out, attending a friend's annual b-day dinner at The House of Prime Rib in SF. As in past years, we rode in a limo and had a really fun evening. Mary Ann and John were kind enough to take Marshall again for a sleep over, which he loved. Getting our Xmas tree.

Wednesday, August 24, 2011. Waning Days of Summer. Swim lessons are over. Summer camps are over. Most of Marshall's friends start Kindergarten either this week or next. Sadly, summer is coming to an end. Marshall starts pre-K on Sept. 7. Two more weeks! We plan to fill the time with a camping trip, a hair cut, shoe shopping, and a relaxing Labor Day weekend at home, seeing friends. A few days ago, Marshall captured an odd green bug (maybe a katydid? Ice cream in Carmel. Making daddy's b-day cake.

Marshall has a regular set of excuses for not using the potty: he's too busy, forgot, doesn't really have to go, etc. Today's explanation: "My hands are too tired to pull my underwear down.". Tuesday, February 28, 2012. Month of Fun Concludes. Farewell, February. We'll miss you. We had some amazing weather mid-month. Temps in the 70's. Wearing short sleeves! It has turned chilly this week and rain is coming. Chris is getting into the swing of his new job. He likes the work but is still adjusting to the commute. I had a great birthday weekend. Sunday, May 29, 2011. Me, Chris, Aundria, and Gino at Justin winery. Marshall and his Papa. Mid-month we took a week long vacation down in Cayucos. My mom and Bob generously let us stay at their place while they were out of town. My good friend, Aundria, and her family were also vacationing in Cayucos at the same time. Tuesday, June 28, 2011. The month of June has just flown by! So much has happened. We've had two close friends with their children in and out of the hospital, so that has been stressful (more so for them, obviously). It is a parent's worst nightmare, something bad happening. To their child. Thankfully, both kids seem to be doing well at the moment so our fingers are crossed that they'll continue to thrive. So many of our friends and family have extended.
