Clara in the Republic of Korea. Sunday, March 17, 2013. After a year back home in Minnesota I have returned to Seoul, Korea! I moved into my apartment a week and a half ago and have enjoyed unpacking, settling in, and exploring my new neighborhood. I have a western style bathroom, a washer, a microwave and a toaster oven! Clara in the Republic of Korea. Sunday, April 14, 2013. It is officially spring in Korea, the cherry blossoms have started! I was able to go last weekend and this weekend to Yeouido Park in Seoul. They were absolutely beautiful. Needless to say it was a rough lesson to get through with a lot of laughs. They still don't understand why so many go to visit a person's home who is dead. Clara in the Republic of Korea. Sunday, January 29, 2012. Lunar New Year in Hong Kong. The weather was overcast, rainy and cold. Not the ideal exploring weather but it was warmer then in Seoul! The first night I took a tram up to The Peak, Hong Kong Island's highest point. Peak's Severn Road is the second most expensive street on earth! May is a big month in Korea for holidays, Children's Day, Teacher's Day, and Buddha's birthday! Children's day was Thursday, May 5th so we had that Thursday and Friday off.
