Sunday, January 31, 2010. Sectional Prep WODs 1-30-10. 7:00 AM WOD - Crossfit West Houston. AMRAP in 12 minutes:. 5/5 1-arm kettlebell thruster (35 lbs.). 10 chest to bar pull-ups. Rounds: 4 thrusters 3 pull-ups. I was initially scared to death by the chest to bar pull-ups, but they really weren't all that bad! 1:00 PM WOD - Bayou City Crossfit. 7 cleans (105 lbs.). 14 box jumps (20 inch). I really slow down. Those cleans were really tough - my previous 1RM PR was 103 lbs! 105 lb. cleans! A few thanks -.

With a partner, cannot be working at same time, 1 partner must do at least 25% of work. 800 meter run: 400 meters forwards, 400 meters backwards. 100 med-ball sit-ups (10 lbs.). 100 med-ball cleans (14 lbs.). 100 DB thrusters (20 lb. dbs). It was a tough workout, and overall I am glad it worked out the way it did because I got a ton of work in, and I know in the end that will pay off. I was very very sore on Sunday, but I feel better today. Back at it tonight! Those 1 mile run...

Wednesday, March 24, 2010. 21 KB Swings (35 lb.). We did this one back in June and my time was 19:40. So, a 1:20 improvement, not bad after running two half marathons! I did feel like Quasimodo when I was running though. But I know I need it. So I will rest until Saturday morning, when I plan to hit the gym with a vengance. Tuesday, June 8, 2010. I am officially putting this blog on hiatus for the time being. Things are going very well with Crossfit and triathlons, and I am looking forward to constantly improving at both all summer. Here is the workout schedule I will be following:. Crossfit Endurance (CFE) swim and run WOD early am. Crossfit Bay Area (CF Bay Area) WOD 7 pm. CF Bay Area WOd 7:30 am. CFE swim and bike WOD early am. CF Bay Area WOD 7 pm. Thursday, July 30, 2009. The CFT is basically your best 1 rep max of back squat, shoulder press and deadlift. Back Squat: 130 lbs. (previous PR - 125 lbs.). I know I could have done 135 lbs., but I made the mistake of starting with 135 and a failed attempt, then did 125 and 130 easily, should have tried 135 lbs. again but didn't. Shoulder Press: 85 lbs. (previous PR - 75 lbs.). This one felt good! I know that I am SO close to 90 lbs. Deadlift: 195 lbs (previous PR - 185 lbs.). Can't wait to do it again!

Wednesday, April 28, 2010. AMRAP in 20 minutes. Parter A runs a 400 meter while Partner B does AMRAP of:. When parter A returns from run, they take over and B heads out on run. A round is completed when the kb swings are finished. Matt was my partner for this and he did great!
