So in the late hours of this night which are probably closest to when Mark actually left this life, I sit alone and share a small part of what I'm thinking and feeling. Thursday, August 27, 2009. August 27, 2009}. Okay, so the day didn't start out with me making breakfast, but yesterday when I made Belgian Waffles, I froze extras for today. My kids still think I'm great. Today we had a professional dancer. He's the son of a lady in our ward, come to our church and teach us how to Salsa and Samba. May 10, 2011. When we were little, Bryan used to put Carter and I through hell with his teasing and poking and regular beatings that occurred when Mom and Dad weren't looking. So Carter, being the little brother, mostly took it in the chin and learned early on that it was just easier to suffer through and that eventually Bryan would get distracted when Night Rider or The A-Team came on and Carter could find some peace. Wednesday, August 5, 2015. Later in July we attended the annual Cul-de-sac of Fire at the Everitts house. We always eat lots of delicious food and light off lots of fireworks. As usual it was lots of fun. Thanks Everitts! Once again Mia loved the fireworks! Jessica is showing us how to be a teen. Also, this month we went to the Aquarium with the Everitts. It was very cool and had a lot to see. I often catch Mia sleeping with a limb or two sticking out of her crib. The wild flowers were amazing.
