No matter. Try again. Fail again. Fail better.". Wednesday, November 3, 2010. Last Lap of the Koppenbergcross. Every Spring, the skinny tire guys climb the Koppenberg, one of the fearful Helingen of the Tour of Flanders. Every fall, the slightly fatter tire guys also climb the Koppenberg, and then turn right at the top of the hill and ride their 'cross bikes back down through the fields. It's a grueling, classic event, and you can watch the last lap of it here. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). The rec...

There are people that are born tougher than others mentally, or figure things out earlier in their life. But if you have motivation you can acquire mental toughness, it's just about what your body gets used to putting up with" -Greg Jackson. I told Terenzo I wanted to run 1:16, and he just flatly said "you should run much faster than that! So anyway, I was or...

Chris Boudreaux: November 2011
http://chrisbtri.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html
Wednesday, November 23, 2011. Went to Tempe on Wednesday am, so I could get rested, finish the last few workouts, and not have to rush anything. Tribe Multisport (great shop! Set me up with a homestay, Brandon, right off the IMAZ run course. I had a great time, everyone was very helpful and fun to hang out with. Definitely a relaxed and smooth lead in to the race. Got out in 55 min, right by guys like Jordan Rapp and Trevor Wurtele, who also had rough swims. I knew it wasn't great, but also knew I wa...

Training weather was nice in Portland leading into the race. Traveling with the family is a little different than solo. The boys helping me train race week. Chris Boudreaux: September 2011
http://chrisbtri.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html
Monday, September 12, 2011. I'll be posting some news soon on Coaching, Nutrition, and Sponsorship/Marketing. Not advice from me, but who I'm working with in each area. Triathlon demands being good at a lot of things, in addition to swimming, biking, and running. I'm smart enough to know I need plenty of help in these areas. Having a great support team is critical, and I'll try to give them their due. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. Coaching by Cliff English.
