Sunday, December 20, 2009. The storm that models barely made much notice of until Thursday ended up being quite a blockbuster storm for the mid-Atlantic and NorthEast this weekend. We had noted last weekend that there was the possibility of a clipper catching up with a coastal storm, but that idea didn't really catch hold with the models until Thursday (and even then, inconsistently).
