Pursuing the Wind: The Bible Idol
http://pursuingthewind.blogspot.com/2013/05/the-bible-idol.html
Striving to find what really matters in life is like pursuing the wind. Pursuing the Wind: The Least of These
http://pursuingthewind.blogspot.com/2014/01/the-least-of-these.html
Striving to find what really matters in life is like pursuing the wind. Some days you can feel it almost creep inside of you; other days, it feels like it is gone, and you will never again feel it enliven your mind or heart. It's a journey. Yet, as with all good journeys, I believe there will be an end. The Least of These. The Least of These. It's strange what triggers memories sometimes. Frequently, the last year or two I have thought about a handful of adults who reached out to me when I was a child.

Some days you can feel it almost creep inside of you; other days, it feels like it is gone, and you will never again feel it enliven your mind or heart. It's a journey. Yet, as with all good journeys, I believe there will be an end. I've been pondering a great deal about "respect." Perhaps you can discuss this with me, as I'd really rather this be a dialogue. The dictionary defines respect as: " esteem. You have respect of some sort ...

Pursuing the Wind: In the Beginning
http://pursuingthewind.blogspot.com/2013/12/in-beginning.html
Striving to find what really matters in life is like pursuing the wind. Some days you can feel it almost creep inside of you; other days, it feels like it is gone, and you will never again feel it enliven your mind or heart. It's a journey. Yet, as with all good journeys, I believe there will be an end. Many months have passed since I last wrote. As I sit to write this Christmas Eve day, a strange angle to the Christmas story comes to mind. He was in the beginning with God. As we've studied the literary ...

Yet, as with all good journeys, I believe there will be an end. FOR THE LOVE OF GOD. But beyond all his successes, Elijah was—as Jesus' brother James wrote. But this is all history and not what I've been pondering. The significance of Elijah's story in today's dro...

Some days you can feel it almost creep inside of you; other days, it feels like it is gone, and you will never again feel it enliven your mind or heart. It's a journey. Yet, as with all good journeys, I believe there will be an end. Don't get me wrong. Sharing our burdens with the Lord is one of the things we're admonished throughout Scripture to do ( Psalm 37:5. It's just a matter of focus. And my focus is frequently off. He knew th...
