A number of climbing areas have been affected by Alberta Parks warnings and closures, including Grassi and the Ghost. Changes to Bataan Approach. Jul 25, 2016. South Saskatchewan Regional Plan. Feb 6, 2014. Jan 11, 2013. Access in the Ghost was severely affected by the floods of July 2013. A special thanks to MEC.

The purpose of the Climbers' Access Society is to provide and preserve public access for climbers to the montane and alpine regions as well as related and surrounding wilderness of the Rocky Mountain Cordillera and Eastern Slope foothills of Alberta. CASA aims to aid in the conservation of montane, alpine and other wilderness areas of Alberta, while supporting their use by the climbing, hiking or other soft tread public. A special thanks to MEC.
