Climbing with Kids

April 22, 2015. Climbing in the Aland Islands with Kids. Our family took my favorite climbing trip yet. Bouldering in the Aland Islands. I posted about it here. But I'll repost here to gear it towards climbers. Coming this week! March 24, 2014. Not May. Well, supposedly May can be good, but when we went in May, the rain never stopped and it was cold! Summer is too hot, so probably another good place to go from Sept - November. We stayed in a bungalow at El Puente. The Landing/Drop off at El Camino. Gorge...

Climbing with Kids: Climbing in Rodellar

http://climbingwithkids.blogspot.com/2014/03/climbing-in-rodellar.html

March 24, 2014. Why: Rodellar village is situated above the beautiful Muscan gorge in the Sierra de Guara National Park. This limestone gorge is one of Europe’s famous climbing areas and provides plenty of steep hard routes. The climbing style is powerful and athletic, with plenty of overhanging caves, arches, roofs, tufas and pinnacles. Not May. Well, supposedly May can be good, but when we went in May, the rain never stopped and it was cold! We stayed in a bungalow at El Puente. You should be psyched!

Climbing with Kids: Climbing in Tuscany with Kids - Candalla

http://climbingwithkids.blogspot.com/2013/11/climbing-in-tuscany-with-kids-candalla.html

November 4, 2013. Climbing in Tuscany with Kids - Candalla. This post is was originally posted on my blog www.wethreemothers.blogspot.com. If you are looking for more information on Tuscany, visit here. And exploring on your own. Frank has developed a particular knack for this. We usually just go down our never ending list of European places we want to visit, and Frank finds the climbing nearby. Sure enough, Frank had just talked to some locals here in the Frankenjura. About the amazing tufas. Is amazing...

Climbing with Kids: Climbing in Arco Italy with Kids

http://climbingwithkids.blogspot.com/2012/07/climbing-in-arco-italy-with-kids.html

July 17, 2012. Climbing in Arco Italy with Kids. One of the most kid friendly, amazing climbing areas we love to go is Arco! Arco is beautiful, and perfect for anyone who loves climbing, biking, wind surfing, or simply seeing a beautiful part of Italy. And best of all, it is a great area to travel with kids. We have been 5 or 6 times now with our little ones, and have always had wonderful weather, great climbing, and fun touring the area. Http:/ www.guesthouse-arco.com/en arco.php. What to do in the Area.

Climbing With Crohn's – Life with Inflammatory Bowel Disease

Climbing With Crohn's. Life with Inflammatory Bowel Disease. A Day in the Life with Infusions. My alarm woke me up as normal and I got showered and dressed with the thought of going to hospital instead of going to work. I made sure to dress in comfy clothes as an infusion always means sitting around for several hours. Following my breakfast I booted up my work laptop and ran through my emails making sure there wasn’t anything urgent that needed a response and thankfully there wasn’t! I walked into at War...

Climbing with Kristen Kelliher

Climbing with Kristen Kelliher. Sunday, February 9, 2014. Success without a Summit? I know this post is written about a month later than intended, but sometimes it's difficult to be able to reflect well on experiences after they've just happened. Some time, distance, and space allow us to understand and more importantly justify our decisions. As I'm sure you've guessed, we did not summit Aconcagua or else I probably would have posted (bragged) about it sooner. But does a summit mean success? Reaching the...
