Monday, 2 June 2014. Had a great week working on the learn to lead climbing course. The weather was great for the first two days but then rained for the next two, so the hunt for dry rock was on? But not found. The last day however was dry. It was a great end to the course. Tuesday, 1 April 2014. Had a few days in Devon and Cornwall last week. Climbed at the Dewerstone, Daddyhole and Bosigran. We dodged the rain as best we could and got some great routes in. Matt making short work of the crux of cyclops.

Thursday, 27 June 2013. Had a great few days teaching on a refresher learn to lead course, we were lucky with the weather and had two days at Stanage then the last day at Burbage. Thursday, 20 February 2014. On Sat 15th I visited Glen Coe and soloed Aonach Eagach Ridge. What a great route, there was so much snow on top and not as hard as you would like so it made it a bit more exciting. Weather was not to bad and by the afternoon you had a great view but windy. Wednesday, 17 April 2013. Had a great few days with Dave and Jon on the intro to climbing. The day started at Yarncliffe it was very windy, so safety was paramount at the top. The sun did come out in the afternoon and were able to do lots of climbing and setting up systems. Dave on Aphids Wall great climbing for the first day. Jon smashing out Aphids Wall as well. Day Two was just as windy so we headed to Rivelin. Dave making short work of Rodney's Dilemma. John on the finishing moves of Left Edge.

I climbed at Tahquitz and Suicide Rock in Southern California with JJ. And then I flew back to New England and hooked up with Chad Farr and climbed at the famous Gunks in New York State. We also spent a few days climbing in New Hampshire at North Conway. Both were great trips with some bold "old school" trad climbing. Fun but scary. Marty Departs for Medical School.
