Happy Hartz: April 2015
http://happyhartz.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
Monday, April 20, 2015. Lavender gave up her (okay, actually it was MY) beloved nap right around the time she turned three. She had previously been a champion napper, so it was tough for me to give up 2 hours of quiet time each day! Now she only naps if she happens to be in the car in the early afternoon. It doesnt usually work out for me, but once in awhile the stars align. Will you just drive around so I can sleep? Friday, April 10, 2015. This girl LOVES her babies and animals! Good, good eleven! She brought them all in to enjoy the magic of the Christmas tree. She used her sweatshirt to made a carrier for "baby girl Jesus.". Puppy and "Jesus" nap on a Christmas pillow. Snuggling with Edie and Hop Hop. Edie was my doll that my mom made for me when I was about four years old. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Good, good eleven!

The Cleverley Family: April 2012
http://cleverleyfam.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html
Friday, April 20, 2012. This was the beginning of a long journey. It all started at the dentist when I started to feel.not so great. Carter was getting his last exam before tooth surgery. So I did what I had done in the past and called my doc and got put on some medication. This is what had worked in the past, and I was hoping it would work again. The kids spent a lot of time playing together. I tried to still let the kids have fun. It was getting hard. I wanted to spend. My time doing this. Cody dressin...

Jen had a phone consultation with a doctor in Arizona about Emmy's health. Next step: figure out how to do a blood draw, and schedule a trip to Phoenix to meet the doc in person. Doctor appointment for Jen- adjustment of meds, but otherwise things looking good. Jeff got to go to Scout Camp and see the latest Jurassic Park movie all in one day. He has a fun life. William Shakesp...

Happy Thoughts, Indeed! Sunday, June 14, 2015. That Child, by Rachael Carman. My favorite workshop of the convention, the room was full of parents like me who are concerned for a particular member of the family. As I looked around me, I could sense the love that every mother felt for her struggling child. And by the end of the session, there wasn't a dry eye. To introduce the topic, on the screen was a list of some character traits we want in our children:. When the Roman soldiers came to arrest Jesus, P...

Happy Thoughts, Indeed!: My Children's Mother
http://daveandjendunn.blogspot.com/2015/05/my-childrens-mother.html
Happy Thoughts, Indeed! Tuesday, May 19, 2015. What were you like as a child? I was very little- usually the smallest one in my class at school. Do you pray daily? When he asked me if I'd like to stay out or go home, I asked him to take me home. How many jobs have you had? Who was your favorite person to spend time with as a teenager? What kind of car did you learn to drive in, and who taught you? What was the most popular song in high school? What kind of music did you like to listen to? I cannot actual...

Happy Thoughts, Indeed!: February 2015
http://daveandjendunn.blogspot.com/2015_02_01_archive.html
Happy Thoughts, Indeed! Monday, February 2, 2015. I finally updated the blog cover photo to our most recent family photo. It was taken at Craters of the Moon, and I told the kids if it went well, we could have our yearly family photo over and done with. Not everyone cooperated! But why have I titled this post, "Celebrating"? It's because I can no longer wear the jeans that I had on in that photo. And those jeans were actually replacements for previous jeans that I had shrunk out of. What I've Learned in ...
