Clinically Nomadic

Happiness as a consequence but not purpose? Amen to this Values.com quote of the day, although I like to think- from my maybe limited experience- that real. Happiness from integrity, a less 'carefree' happiness but more whole and abiding, rather than the plasticky bubbliness or shallow exuberance so many seem to think of as happiness in our culture today, is sort of an inevitable consequence of a life so dedicated:. Ralph Waldo Emerson (1803-1882);. Philosopher, Poet, Author, Essayist. I love snow days!

Clinically Nomadic: October 2010

http://www.clinicallynomadic.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html

Tacoma's not so dangerous.". Some of you got a text from me about this tonight. But on our way home from the fair, while driving down a wide street, a woman came running out into the street waving her arms in a clearly agitated way. As we got closer, the friend driving the car started to slow down, and a couple of us (myself included) insisted, "No, keep going. Just keep driving around her and don't slow down! Tonight, a few friends and I ate at The Ram. Get out. Get away. Wow, I think we just sa...No wa...

How's a guy to save? Since my goal is complete financial independence, it's a little frustrating to be stuck at 10-15% for now, particularly if Social Security's future is in question. Ha, maybe I need to finally read one of those Suze Orman books I picked up at DI last year for cheap. Be wearing them daily.OK, back to the whole job-finding thing. :-). Labels: Goals and To-Do. Clinically Nomadic: I love snow days!

http://www.clinicallynomadic.blogspot.com/2010/11/i-love-snow-days.html

I love snow days! I love seeing families out sledding, and snowboarders down the street. I love seeing a dad pulling his little daughter in a sled across their yard, or kids making snow angels. I love the freshly frosted trees and rooftops with chimney smoke fluffing into the still air! I love the softened sounds and cozy clothes! 24 November, 2010 09:52. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). The Rogers Neighborhood: Holidays 2010

http://itstherogersneighborhood.blogspot.com/2011/01/holidays-2010.html

Sunday, January 9, 2011. Lets see.it has been a while since we did any updating so here is a quick look back at the holidays of 2010. Christmas we spent with Jon and his family. We all went to a cabin 4 days before Christmas and had fun playing games and playing in the snow. The cabin was near Mt. Rainier so we made a few trips up to the snow. We returned to his parents house for Christmas Eve and then woke up to a wonderful Christmas morning of presents and family. (Dec 2010). January 10, 2011 at 2:28 PM.

My Life: February 2011

http://lizasland.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html

Wednesday, February 23, 2011. I am sorely in need of a break! Life has dumped a lot on my shoulders lately and the pressure is starting to get to me. I know I've gotten cranky and difficult. I need to get away from everyday life and take a break from everything on my shoulders. And thankfully, that break is coming this weekend! I will be joining some very good friends and amazing women for a weekend away in Island Park! Saturday, February 12, 2011. I got this song from my friend Stacey. I just love it.

Sunday, May 13, 2012. WowI am really terrible at updating my blog this year! The Rogers Neighborhood: August 2009

http://itstherogersneighborhood.blogspot.com/2009_08_01_archive.html

Monday, August 10, 2009. A few weeks ago our little crew took a Saturday afternoon hike to a beautiful place called Bridal Veil Falls located in the Columbia Gorge just outside Portland. We picked this hike because it is only a mile and just right for little legs (i.e. Katelynn. To make it without. Having to be carried. The woods were beautiful and it was a sunny warm afternoon. ahh. I saw these tree leaves glowing from the sunlight shining through them. It was cooler in person :). Being dressed in pink.

Dang, Gina!: Do you ever wonder...

http://ginarj.blogspot.com/2013/08/do-you-ever-wonder.html

Thursday, August 1, 2013. Do you ever wonder. If maybe you're not living your best life? Like maybe you have so much potential for things you could. Be doing, and you don't even realize it? Or maybe you do but you're too afraid to do anything about it or you don't know where to start? That's kind-of where my head is right now. Ahemand I digress). It was a quote that I believe goes something like this: We all have two lives, the second one begins when you realize you only have one. It was so long ago that...
