Piggott's News
http://roycepiggott.blogspot.com/2010/11/witness-protection-so-were-selling-our.html
Friday, November 12, 2010. So, we're selling our timeshare. I say selling, but we actually have to 'pay' someone to take it off our hands. We aren't getting a dime for it, and we have to pay all the closing costs, but we'll be glad when we're done with it, for various reasons (more on that later). While I'm having all these conversations with myself, and then mentally thinking how outrageous it is that all these bank employees, who we trust with our money, are not allowed t. Anyway, I'm quite proud of my...

MOMENT TO MOMENT: Bowling
http://sixcrazypulleys.blogspot.com/2010/04/bowling.html
April 5, 2010. This particular rainy April day, we decided we would give in to the constant begging and pleading and head over to the local bowling alley. Kayson and Zack were SO excited, we could barely contain them to get the bowling shoes on, Kenz helped get everyone's names on the board and I was in awe that they made bowling shoes small enough for Jaycee, so CUTE! Especially since their Papa works at BYU. The ice cream was so yummy and we all loved it! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). LIKES: bein...

April 3, 2010. On Saturday, we went over to my sis in law's to color Easter eggs. I will admit, I was a little nervous because Cameron had to work and I would be trying to help the kids and be the photographer at the same time. I forget what great kids I have! They had so much fun and didnt make one mess :) YAY! How fun. The eggs turned out great! April 5, 2010 at 2:53 PM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Our brillant 11 year old. Our happy 9 year old. MOMENT TO MOMENT: Snow Day
http://sixcrazypulleys.blogspot.com/2009/12/snow-day.html
February 24, 2010. We had a rare occasion one snowy day in December, Cam and I both had a day off TOGETHER! We had also had a great snow storm. SNOW DAY! We bundled all the kids up and headed out in the snow. All the kids LOVED it and had so much fun. This was Jaycee's first experience playing in the snow and she was so funny. She would fall into the snow, face first, and just lie there licking the snow. It was hilarious! Heading inside for hot chocolate with marshmallows. Yummy! Our brillant 11 year old.

Shepherd Family News: Art and cold weather
http://bandkshepherd.blogspot.com/2013/07/art-and-cold-weather.html
Sunday, July 28, 2013. Art and cold weather. Last week the kids and I tried to go see a free magic show that was happening during winter holiday. We got there too late to get a seat, but we enjoyed seeing the nifty scrap metal sculptures outside. This was a polka-dot covered living room set-up under black light. All of our pictures are pretty awful since you can't use flash and we have a simple snapshot camera. Every visitor to the museum gets a sheet of stickers so they can add to the art of this room.

Shepherd Family News: July 2013
http://bandkshepherd.blogspot.com/2013_07_01_archive.html
Wednesday, July 31, 2013. Drawing to a close. Over the last few days I've thought about some of the things I'm excited to be going back to, and some things I am sad to leave behind. Here are a few, in random order. 11 things I look forward to:. 1 My own bed.2. A hot shower. Warm just doesn't cut it. (Although I'm sure this won't seem quite as desirable when I'm back in 95 degree weather.). 3 Peanut butter, whole wheat, Mexican food. 4 Sam's Club and my van trunk (i.e. once a week grocery trips). We went ...

Shepherd Family News: Estancia El Ombú
http://bandkshepherd.blogspot.com/2013/07/estancia-el-ombu.html
Monday, July 29, 2013. This weekend we spent a night at Estancia El Ombú. It is a working ranch that now also does tourism. We had such a great time! It started early on Friday with a subway ride, a 2-hour double-decker bus ride, then a 15 minute taxi ride. The kids thought sitting on the top level of the bus was pretty neat. The front porch of the main building. A gaucho (cowboy) did a short horse demonstration for us. It was slow and graceful, almost like a dance with his horse. Chad and Kristin Anselmo.
