Thoughts I’ve had while not posting:. Gold-star charts have officially begun in our house. If you’re 2 years old, you get a star for using nice words, not hitting your brother, and going pee-pee before your rest. I’m petitioning Allison for my own gold-star chart b/c it looks like fun. Getting a Grip: First Look – Old Post. Mdash; Leave a comment. I have developed a way of preparing for a tournament on a course that I’ve never played. I’m calling it Getting a Grip: First Look. Essentially, I record the discs I throw off the tee that seem to work best in the hopes that I can reproduce similar results when it counts. This video is of my first round at Old Post in Russellville, AR recorded a week before the 2nd Annual Arkansas Amateur Championships. Let me know what you think. Put togethe...

Father’s Day – It’s Complicated. Mdash; Leave a comment. Every year on Father’s Day, there’s a mixed bag of emotions running through me. On the one hand, I am the dad to three amazing kids – a role I have longed for since I was their age. One I also take very seriously, which speaks to the other hand. I am creating a father’s legacy…literally from scratch. Remember to pray for His peace to invade their hearts. Remember to be sensitive to those you know are hurting. Love That’s it…just love. Today was one...

Mdash; Leave a comment. In my youth, I grew up near a fantastic lake and many a summer day was spent out on the water. Our family either owned or had access to a pontoon boat (called a party barge here in the South). It was our transportation to remote islands where we would camp out for a week; our ski-boat (very effective – no planing required); our swimming platform and our bass boat. Where catfish liked to lounge. My Social Business Theory. Mdash; Leave a comment. Mdash; Leave a comment. I saw a post...

a round of updates | bradherndon.wordpress.com
https://bradherndon.wordpress.com/2010/05/19/a-round-of-updates
A round of updates. What does this site and the Edge stage have in common? Simplify the stage. Less clutter from our previous set-up, which involved lots of risers for levels. (The bass player was basically standing on the shoulders of the drummer). Less levels. No rugs. If we could cut the drum kit in half I would’ve. Clean and simple. Break up the brick wall at the back of the stage. The brick fits with the warehouse-feel of the room but it also reeks of a comedy club. So we wanted a stage back...Desig...

the stories that make the Man | bradherndon.wordpress.com

The stories that make the Man. I love how with each little story Luke unfolds more of who Jesus is. Sometimes it’s hard to read these stories that I’ve heard many times without thinking, “Oh yeah, I’ve heard this one. He’s gonna heal the guy. Pretty cool. Next.” But how often do I read each of these stories and then. Put all them all together. He was no ordinary man. By bradherndon on March 9, 2010. Posted in fellowship journal. Finding God on the way or in the way? Bull;January 28, 2010 • Leave a Comment. 8230;Instead of trusting God, they took over. They were absorbed in what they themselves were doing. They were so absorbed in their “God projects” that they didn’t notice God right in front of them, like a huge rock in the middle of the road. And so they stumbled into him and went sprawling. Isaiah gives us the metaphor for pulling this together:. I’ve put a huge stone on the road to Mount Zion. A stone you can’t around. God d...
