Random thoughts – as and when. Archive for June, 2011. Clearly loading an app on an iPhone has not proven to be a successful means to blogging more frequently. Inspiration is what’s lacking so that’s something I need to work on. And perhaps discipline. An environment that will inspire thought and creativity – without the distractions of email, twitter and Facebook. Or perhaps I should be less concerned about the written word and stick to photography and posting on FlickR page. Blog archives for June, 2011.

Random thoughts – as and when. Archive for May, 2011. Breakfasts of the world. One of the joys if international travel for me is sampling local foods. This morning I tried Dosa in Mumbai – a pancake made from rice flour and lentils. It comes served with a wide variety of chutneys and pickles and I tried some coconut chutney, coriander chutney and a even a tiny bit of sambal with mine (I’m up for trying most things but not brilliant with hot spice in the morning). It was really delicious!

When I was in Devizes in Wiltshire recently, I found myself getting increasingly frustrated with the lack of both phone and data connectivity. After all, we were in a town in the south west of England so what’s the problem? BTW we did at the Bear Hotel in Devizes but had to ask for a new password every 12 hours, quite annoying)! Or not at least until network coverage gets a hell of a lot better across most parts of the country.
