The Amazingness That Is Greece. There is no way I could accurately describe the level of awesome in Greece. I don't think there are enough synonyms for beautiful out there. At least I'm not clever enough to come up with them. So, I'll keep the chatter to a minimum and we can just basque in the glorious photos together. Go on, basque with me. Already a December to Remember! What's Been Happening Lately. So far December in Paris has been so awesome! I absolutely love all the Christmas lights everywhere, the cool air, the festive markets, shopping for gifts. I could do with a little less rain, but we can't have it all. I'm sure it's fairly obvious that our favorite Holiday pastime in Paris is strolling around the Christmas markets. We just can't stop ourselves! Oh, did I mention that these are the sights along our walk to and from the market?

Current Events - February 2013. The sun is out. That is the first important event to share. After months and months of sad weather, I am so grateful for the blue skies and sunshine. I never realized how much the weather impacts people's moods. I realize this may not be blog-worthy news to most, but I just had to share my happiness! Beerfest 2012 in Prague! Poor Kyle, the beer lover, has been in the land of cheap, excellent wine and expensive, crappy beer for almost a year now. While he has become quite a wine fan, he certainly misses nice craft beers. So for Christmas I decided to plan a trip to Prague, the motherland for quality brews and those who covet them. We finally went this past Thursday-Monday and had an absolutely awesome time! The first of many delicious beers in Prague. Great view of Prague Castle from our hotel room.

Loading vacation rental properties please wait. Visited the Sheraton as part of the AAU volleyball tournament. I didn't have to pay for the room so I can't comment on the value but the view from the room overlooking the pool and the pool area itself were fabulous. We only spent a little time actually in the room and when we were there we were sleeping on comfy, cozy beds. Free water (that's unusual) and a frig were nice additions. A different flavor was available another day.
