Blooming Where Planted: January 2015
http://www.cathy.willman.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
Saturday, January 31, 2015. We took the boys to the Pinewood Derby for scouts this evening before the snow hit. And they had Gold, Silver, and Bronze podiums, for the trophy winners. Now, I'll write all about how Christopher did, when I get a chance, but if you ask me,. All my Boyz are winners. Posted by Cathy Willman. I'm a little bit behind, but better late than never. Here is my Week 2 Crochet a long, it's looking very pretty. But I am definitely gonna need more yarn! Time to go on a yarn run! The boy...

Blooming Where Planted: November 2014
http://www.cathy.willman.com/2014_11_01_archive.html
Sunday, November 30, 2014. I got Plenty to Be Thankful For! You know that song from Holiday Inn? Bing Crosby is singing, I got plenty to be Thankful For, as he's staring at a Thanksgiving turkey? Well, it's one of my favorites. I try to watch Holiday Inn every Thanksgiving.or at least soon thereafter. Haven't made it this year, yet. Prompted by the song, and by the month of November ending, I just wanted to jot down some of the things I've been especially Thankful for this month. Why had I never bought i...

Blooming Where Planted: A Trip to the Zoo
http://www.cathy.willman.com/2015/03/a-trip-to-zoo.html
Saturday, March 14, 2015. A Trip to the Zoo. That makes it fun. It was not coat weather. I still had jackets on the kids, it was foggy when we arrived, but it was supposed to shape up later, and it really did! The kids loved standing by the aquariums and watching all the fishies go by. Piper didn't last long, but Jacob could have stayed in that room for a while. Still, whenever Pipes would move, Jake would faithfully follow. They were so adorable looking at the fishies together. Though technically, orang...

Blooming Where Planted: The Jumping Deer Museum
http://www.cathy.willman.com/2015/03/the-jumping-deer-museum.html
Wednesday, March 18, 2015. The Jumping Deer Museum. The weather is getting nicer. And I need to get practicing getting out with the stroller. As we'd been driving by the Zoo last week, Piper had asked to stop at the Jumping Deer. It took me a minute to realize what she was talking about. she wanted to go to the Eiteljorg. Ah, we often call it the Cowboys and Indians Museum, because that's what Chris and Sam called it. But the Jumping Deer Museum is fairly appropriate too. They immediately started playing...

Neither Here Nor There: June 2011
http://meypfan.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html
Neither Here Nor There. Tuesday, June 14, 2011. The Call (Part 2). Wow we were completely blown away. At the same time that God had been preparing our hearts to accept a role at camp, He had been working on the hearts of Dave and the Board to create just the right position. Truly God's plans for us are infinitely better than our plans for ourselves. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. Want to read more? Neither Here Nor There: February 2015
http://meypfan.blogspot.com/2015_02_01_archive.html
Neither Here Nor There. Wednesday, February 18, 2015. WARNING: Herein follows a post in which I get very, very raw and REAL. It has been nearly seven months since my family relocated to Indianapolis from our home at camp. Leaving camp was hands-down the hardest thing I've ever had to do. I hoped that as time went on, as we adjusted to our lives here, things would get easier. That we would all make peace with our new lives. This past Saturday, I asked Bryn what she wanted to do this summer. She looked...

Neither Here Nor There: The Call (Part 1)
http://meypfan.blogspot.com/2011/05/call-part-1.html
Neither Here Nor There. Saturday, May 28, 2011. The Call (Part 1). All of these things have their own stories, which I hope to catch up on in the coming days and weeks, now that the craziness of all our transitions is starting to slow a bit and allow me a little time to write. But to start, I need to begin at the beginning. Or in the summer of 1999, when I had "the experience of the century" with my first summer as a counselor? But of course, God's ways are not our ways. And that, I think, is the beginni...

Blooming Where Planted: Off to Texas, Day 5
http://www.cathy.willman.com/2015/03/off-to-texas-day-5.html
Tuesday, March 31, 2015. Off to Texas, Day 5. Unfortunately, Annie had school the entire time we visited. But on Wednesday, all the kids were up early enough to have breakfast with her, all get dressed, and we all escorted her to school. :). My boys wanted desperately to go into her school, and meet her teacher, everything. After dropping off Annie, we took the boys to Fort Bliss. My boys did not appreciate being stuck on top of a tank, especially Jacob. The big boys picked out some matching shirts too.

Blooming Where Planted: Spring Break Nails
http://www.cathy.willman.com/2015/03/spring-break-nails.html
Friday, March 20, 2015. I have fallen madly in love with Jamberry nails, in case you haven't noticed. One of these days, I may very well sign up myself. just to support my habit. In the mean time check out my friend Lori's Jammin' site. This one is called Spring Break. Perfectly appropriate, as we take off Saturday for Spring Break Trip to TX. I love being able to take off my old nails, and just putting a new wrap on, and having festive nail without having to find a sitter! I'm routing for it all! Guest ...

Blooming Where Planted: Lego Club
http://www.cathy.willman.com/2015/03/lego-club.html
Wednesday, March 11, 2015. On the first Friday of the month, our library has Lego Club. And this month was the first time that a. I remembered, and b. Chris had behaved well enough for me to take him over. But Eric wasn't home in time for me to just take Chris, so all the boys went. And all the boys were welcome. My friend Amy and her boys were there too! Even though we were there for Chris, both little brothers felt they needed to play Legos too. Posted by Cathy Willman. The Drummond Digest by Ree.
