http://michellecobbin.blogspot.com/2014_03_01_archive.html
Contemporary artist - abstract painter. Monday, 17 March 2014. At last, my studio is finished and I can get back to work. Just in time for the longer days and the warmth of the sun to come streaming through. I now have a proper work space, storage and a painting wall. Thanks to Elaine for her clever design of the space, and to Peter for his help in putting the whole thing together. Work bench and shelves. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Brighton, United Kingdom. cobbin bloggin: Expansion
http://michellecobbin.blogspot.com/2013/08/expansion.html
Contemporary artist - abstract painter. Sunday, 4 August 2013. The expansion I feel during the hot weather, as the warmth relaxes my muscles and soothes my bones is both soothing and invigorating. Working on a large scale feels wonderful, to reach and stretch and to work on the ground outside. May this glorious summer go on and on. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Brighton, United Kingdom. another fine day at the office: May 2012
http://anotherfinedayattheoffice.blogspot.com/2012_05_01_archive.html
Another fine day at the office. Biking, snowboarding, surfing, swimming and other things of a sporting nature. Saturday, 26 May 2012. The music of life. Three days of good, head-high waves out here on the far western tip of Breizh. This country’s very like Cornwall: windswept open moors or fields, tight little valleys with trees huddled in the bottom, granite coasts, low houses. Just down the road is a beach with at least three names. An attempt by local surfers to keep its identity obscure? All pivoty, ...

another fine day at the office: Back in Britain
http://anotherfinedayattheoffice.blogspot.com/2012/10/back-in-britain.html
Another fine day at the office. Biking, snowboarding, surfing, swimming and other things of a sporting nature. Saturday, 13 October 2012. Back in Britain for two weeks, during which it has rained every single day. What are the ten most important things I learned from a year of travelling around Europe, meeting people, seeing new places, riding my bike, and paddling my surfboard? 2) The Basque Country is also really good. 5) Drivers in Europe either don't mind cyclists, or actively like them. I think this...

Another fine day at the office. Biking, snowboarding, surfing, swimming and other things of a sporting nature. Friday, 14 September 2012. Driving through the Alps in summer, you can’t help but be astounded by their numbers. Hordes of Big Gay Germans on BMWs, apparently obeying an immutable law: if half the BMWs manufactured since 1973 are not present in the Alps every summer, the world ends. What makes them BGGs, even though they probably aren’t actually friends of Dorothy at all? BGGs on BMWs count as w...

another fine day at the office: July 2012
http://anotherfinedayattheoffice.blogspot.com/2012_07_01_archive.html
Another fine day at the office. Biking, snowboarding, surfing, swimming and other things of a sporting nature. Tuesday, 31 July 2012. Hubris I and II. A few days in the old stomping ground of Allos, and I take the opportunity to get my cycling legs back with a climb of the Col d'Allos, down to Barcelonette, and back. It's 12 km up to the col (which is the penultimate of the five that did for Eddy Merckx in the 1975 Tour). Then 25 km down to Barcelonette, then reverse the route for home. Rumours fly up an...
