Thursday, May 13, 2010. Good bye to a beloved Mother. When I first started to blog, I did it because my sister had one and so did my son. I found that my 80 mother really enjoyed reading what was going on in our lives and that of her grandchildren. I took pictures of silly things and serious things and put them up on this blog so she could laugh, smile, and admire. On April 3, 2010, we lost our mother to a massive stroke. Fortunately, her suffering only lasted 5 days, but that in itself was too long.

Sunday, February 8, 2015. For some unknown reason, I quickly thought of Ma just now. I actually had my hand on the phone :) She never shoveled, ever! But there was always a path to her door. Tuesday, May 18, 2010. In spite of everything, I had a wonderful Mother's Day. First I delivered a dozen white roses to the grave and then came home to Jon and Katie cleaning the house for me. Thursday, September 24, 2009. Last Sunday, Gene and some friends went fishing somewhere in the Atlantic Ocean, ( I can not mention the specific location because I have been sworn to secrecy) Anyway, low and behold, a Tuna, about 200 lbs and about 5 feet long.
