Tuesday, June 23, 2009. Vacation, Day 5. This morning, we.slept in AGAIN! Brian and the guys went to play golf. We headed to the beach for some boogie boarding and digging then back to the clubhouse pool when Brian got back for lunch for more shrimp! Hung out at the pool for awhile and then I headed in to shower for my massage. It was great! All the girls had a massage then we all got ready to eat at the very nice restaurant at our resort for Jessica's birthday.Happy Birthday Jessica! What a cute hubby!

Friday, June 19, 2009. Well, I have several other "activities" to post since my last one (Kris Allen) but because I want to keep up with our vacation, I will got back later and add those. Brian ended up taking today off too, so we left home around 12:00 and went down to visit his Nanny before we left. She has been diagnosed will Alzheimers and has really gone down hill rather quickly. Sadly, they have given her approximately 6-8 weeks. We visited with her and left around 2:00 for Gulf Shores.

Sunday, September 28, 2008. Scavenger Hunt at Mimi's. On Sunday, we all headed to Mimi and PopPop's for turkey dinner and a scavenger hunt. The dinner was great! The kids were so excited and couldn't hardly wait for the scavenger hunt. My mom made them each a list of items they had to go find and bring back to turn in for their prize. It was too cool. They loved it and their prizes. Thanks Mimi and PopPop! One of the lists. Hailey found something on her list! Hayden is hunting for something on his list.

Although I am grateful for the invitation (because it gives me a chance to meet the parents of Braden's friends) I am finding the gift situation to be very frustrating. Living my life like it's golden. Over 2 years ago I wrote about my reaction to the Duggar family having their 17th baby. Today in the hospital I MET Michelle Duggar while walking down the hall at the Children's Hospital here. Apparently their newest baby came very early and had been struggling to survive. Living my life like it's golden. Braden lost his first tooth, last night while Mason was putting him to bed. I missed the whole thing because I was a church. I can't believe I missed it! I had been mulling around the tooth fairy stuff for some time now. Wondering how we were going to approach this as a family. I decided to play along, for now. hoping he doesn't ask me outright about "who" the tooth fairy really is. A small tooth shaped plastic case that glows in the dark. It worked perfectly.
