SOUTHWEST ANGLER: September 2012
http://southwestangler.blogspot.com/2012_09_01_archive.html
Sunday, September 2, 2012. This trip was a planned backpack trip into a remote area of the Weminuche Wilderness. We only spent 1-1/2 days fishing the creek, for such a long hike in and out we should have planned for more time. Everything about this location is great! One could spend a lifetime exploring lakes and creeks in this area! Some pictures and scenery while we were fishing/hiking. Even ran into this Moose and calf while hiking back to camp after a day of fishing. Posted by SOUTHWEST ANGLER. This ...

CarpeTrutta: February 2011
http://carpetrutta.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
Tuesday, February 22, 2011. There have been a surprising number of local folks expressing interest in my fly patterns. I am therefore gratified to announce that Rainy's will be picking up two more of my bugs this coming year. Go-Go Dancer; Black. Go-Go Dancer; Pearl Chartreuse. Wolverine; Not sure what to call this color? In addition, I have had several individuals express interest in custom swimbaits from yours truly. Posted by Shaun Solomon. Tuesday, February 22, 2011. CarpeTrutta: Why do I bother?
http://carpetrutta.blogspot.com/2013/02/why-do-i-bother.html
Friday, February 15, 2013. Why do I bother? I have been staying with my efforts in building good and productive lures despite (or perhaps because of) the hell that is winter. I am not a fan of frozen lakes. I know people that enjoy ice fishing more than they do open water. I have also heard some people will not eat bacon or drink alcohol. It is difficult to understand why people are as they are. I am pretty eager to be out throwing this. 8734;§∞. Posted by Shaun Solomon. Friday, February 15, 2013. One ev...

SOUTHWEST ANGLER: BOB MARSHALL WILDERNESS
http://southwestangler.blogspot.com/2013/08/bob-marshall-wilderness.html
Saturday, August 31, 2013. A good friend and I spent 6 days and over 100 backpacking miles fishing/exploring the Bob Marshall wilderness area. Some of the notable waters we fished were Young's creek, Gordon's creek and South Fork of the Flathead river. We did see a few anglers on Young's creek but all other days we had the rivers all to ourselves. Some of the fish I managed to pull from the area. Scenery from areas we fished. Musings on running, fly fishing, skiing, traveling, being a dad, and life's other adventures. May 2, 2013. 18″ x 24″ acrylic on board, 2013. Like many of my other painting posts, I think it is fun to show the process. Here’s how it all went down…. I started, like most paintings, with a simple sketch. Then I added the first of many layers. My goal here was just to cover up the white. I quickly came back with another few layers of color to define the background. I love acrylics. Internet professional, runn...

Musings on running, fly fishing, skiing, traveling, being a dad, and life's other adventures. February 8, 2013. Who Needs 50 Shades of Grey? I Have 100 Shades of Gray. While working on a new painting that has a lot of grays, I thought it would be a good idea to see how many grays I could create with just a few colors. Turns out, more than enough. Heck, it’s twice the number Christian Grey has. Internet professional, runner, skier, climber, father, and doer of things. View all posts by seanhudson ». Rocky...
