To like Dale's Pale Ale and Old Chub, I find them barely palatable. Hops just aren't my thing. I'm not going to go on a diatribe about why I think craft and micro-brewers over-hop the living crap out of everything they produce, but let's just say that Oskar Blues generally doesn't let down the stereotype. The video is from the Sports Garage.

View from the Bubble. Life in the People's Republic of Boulder. Cyclocross, Triathlon, Beer, etc. Saturday, May 16, 2009. Long time, no post. Well, well, well. I haven't been very. About updating my posts on this blog. But I've got a lot that I want to say, and I've got my own little soapbox here on which to stand and say it. I'll ignore the fact that no one is listening. Part of the reason for my absence stems from the fact that shortly after my last post, my apartment burned down. Long time, no post.

Race Report – 2015 Summer Open. In transition #2 I changed into a 3rd shirt. The sun was coming out and I knew that I was going to be hot on the run so I changed into a thin long sleeve tech shirt. You’d think I was doing a full Ironman with all the wardrobe changes I had. By willtriforbeer on July 1, 2015. 2 Responses to “Race Report – 2015 Summer Open”. Glad I am back to getting your blogs. Budapest, Hungary – part four | WillTriForBeer
https://willtriforbeer.wordpress.com/2014/12/28/budapest-hungary-part-four
Budapest, Hungary – part four. We started the day by eating an early lunch at Ötkert. It was only okay and nothing to write home about. After lunch we walked over the bridge to Buda for the day. Many people do not know that Buda and Pest are actually separate cities (I didn’t). So when someone refers to Budapest they are combining both cities. Buda is on the west side of the Danube River and Pest is on the east side. We had great views of Pest and the Danube River from the top. The 3 little pigs. For din...

Why “easy’ sessions are important too. Its never ideal to generalize, so keep in mind that this is not an “absolute”. Over the years one of the most common tendencies I’ve observed, is a tendency for people to go “steady” when they should be going. The more often we workout, the more important it becomes to add in workouts that are easy, at low intensity. Here we will define “easy” as any activity performed at less than 70% of threshold (heart rate, power, or pace). BENEFITS of going easy:. Easy, and lig...

Speaking – True Ambitions – Shane Niemeyer

The greatest part of my job is speaking to groups, sharing my story, and helping others realize their potential. At some point, all of us develop an idea of who or what we would like to become. We’ve had a concept of what we want from life. However, at points along the way we can lose sight of those ideals. Sometimes we allow things to distract or derail us. Over time those wants and dreams can fade, if we allow them to. Sophie Mercuris, University of Colorado. Caroline S. Conzelman, Ph.D., A...8220;When...

Trail Running – Mule Deer | WillTriForBeer
https://willtriforbeer.wordpress.com/2015/07/25/trail-running-mule-deer
Trail Running – Mule Deer. This trail was perfect; just the right amount of sunlight being let through by the trees to feed your soul and make you smile yet also the right amount of shade to keep you cool so that you can continue to push on. The views were also great from this trail. To the west I got views of the Continental Divide and to the east I was actually able to see the some of the skyscrapers in downtown Denver way off in the distance. I feel alive today.
