Marco's Colossal Colosseum Adventure. Tuesday, 22 April 2014. On our second day in Italy we went to the Colosseum for an under-ground tour to see what it looks like. There was a famous gladiator in the Colosseum named Spartacus. His prize was a wooden sword and freedom from being a slave. The first gladiatorial games went on for three months straight when the Colosseum was first opened after it was built. Over 5000 animals and people died in the Colosseum during the opening games.

Marco's Colossal Colosseum Adventure. Thursday, 5 June 2014. Our first day at Rome. On our first day in Rome we went to the Leonardo da Vinci exhibition called Inventions of a modern genius. It was really cool because it was an interactive exhibition and you could touch lots of the machines like this one that played music. There were 45 full sized machines. Marco's Colossal Colosseum Adventure. Wednesday, 18 June 2014. Alberobello in Puglia (but the g is silent). This town is full of little houses called Trullis which are made of stone and have cone shaped roofs. They are around 3 or 4 times smaller than a normal house. There are over 1500 Trullis in Alberobello and we stayed in one on a farm just outside of town. There were even restaurants that were Trullis. Gelato shops that were Trullis and there was even a church that was a Trulli.

Marco's Colossal Colosseum Adventure. Tuesday, 24 June 2014. After Naples we drove one and a half hours on a steep and windy cliff and we saw a beautiful sight like this. We stayed at Hotel Parsifal in Ravello which is in the Amalfi Coast and it's on the edge go a big cliff.
