We've given him two prior to this one; first one- a small trim, the second- major trim which resulted in mom crying and saying he's never getting a haircut again! Here's a couple of before shots. Tommy, Jennifer and Luke. Monday, April 13, 2009. Easter Sunday. . . . So it's been forever since we updated the blog. We've been crazy busy with getting our house ready for this buyers market. So now that it's done, we will hopefully do better about putting up pics. Jenn brought Luke up to the station with Nana and Pops, because unfortunately I had to work on Easter this year. Next year, when he actually knows what's going on, we'll hunt easter eggs and make a big deal out of the day.

Tommy, Jennifer and Luke. Monday, November 17, 2008. A week ago, we went camping with couples from our church. We go every spring and fall. It was Luke's first camping trip while outside of the womb-Jenn was a trooper and went when pregnant last year. Luke did great and we had a blast. We look forward to many, many more camping outings together. It was cold at night and in the morning, but we had the fire and layers of clothes to put on. Luke didn't seem to mind at all. Tommy, Jennifer and Luke. Thursday, May 15, 2008. First mother's day for Jennifer. It was great. Went to church with both sets of grandparents and then off to Papasitto's. By the way, mother's day is a horrible day to go to a restaurant. But we waited patiently for a table and had a nice lunch- went home and then went into a food induced coma- it was nice. He used to hate "tummy time" but now that he can lift his head and chest up and roll over, he actually smiles alot of the time. He loves his mommy.

He may be a stock market prodigy by age five. You can tell when he realizes it's mom. He tenses up and sometimes smiles. If he could talk he would definitely be screaming out "Mommy! Sunday, December 30, 2012. The past few days have been a time of reflection, grieving and gratitude. My best friend from childhood lost her dear husband this week after a 3 year battle with cancer. During the last General Conference, Elder Uchtdorf gave the talk "Of Regrets and Resolutions". I remember listening to this talk and thinking of Kayla and Beav. This wasn't just another General Conference talk - but he was describing what they are experiencing at that moment. I wish I had let myself be happier.
