Connecting Baltimore: Turning Ellicott City's Main Street into a Pedestrian Street?
http://connectingbaltimore.blogspot.com/2015/09/turning-ellicott-citys-main-street-into.html
Sunday, September 27, 2015. Turning Ellicott City's Main Street into a Pedestrian Street? Ellicott City's Main Street. A design for Ithaca's Pedestrian Mall. Of course this plan would require extensive work, and might not even be allowed due to historic conditions under the historic district and the Historic National Road (MD 144). Either way, it is worth thinking about how we can make Ellicott City more pedestrian and biker friendly. Location: Ellicott City, MD, USA. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

This and that about life in the Next America. Tuesday, April 12, 2011. This column first appeared April 11 in Capital Busines. S, The Washington Post's weekly local business paper, and my daytime job:. It has always been something of a mystery to me why, with all the technology talent we have in the Washington area, the only breakout Internet sensation the region ever produced was AOL. That legacy was on display last week when Tim O’Shaughnessy, chief executive at e-commerce upstart LivingSocial, s...

http://columbiatalk.blogspot.com/2011/06/graduation-story.html
This and that about life in the Next America. Wednesday, June 1, 2011. This column originally appeared in Capital Business. It’s graduation season, which explains why I found myself in the stands of the auditorium at the University of Maryland’s Baltimore County campus recently watching a parade of caps and gowns happily clutching their real or faux diplomas. Graduations can be inspirational stuff, and this one was no different. Another got hers at the ripe young age of 70. She too had a full-time job.

Wednesday, May 27, 2009. I found Grapeheads along time ago while at a video arcade in theTowson area. Grapeheads are firm with some give, blue dried blueberry shaped candies. Addictive. 25 cents a box. These candies are also available in lemon, cherry and apple flavors at the Cradlerock Mart in Owen Brown. I thought it might weird the owners out if I started taking pictures of the candy isle even though I go here weekly. Links to this post. View Columbia Crime Map. In a larger map. Links to this post.
