The Festering Maze of Sloth, Session Three. November 10, 2013. Not a whole lot new on this front. I did figure out the issue I was having with LAN connectivity and d20Pro. I needed to add an exception for Java Runtime to my computers firewall. Easy enough. Comments Off on The Festering Maze of Sloth, Session Three. The Festering Maze of Sloth, Session two. November 1, 2013. Drostan, the Wizard, came up with an interesting solution. Hero Lab – Lone Wolf Development. The Festering Maze of Sloth, Session two.

BroccoliFest: August 2015
https://broccolifest.blogspot.com/2015_08_01_archive.html
A badly named blog about the tabletop RPG hobby. Ruminations on Pathfinder, D&D Fifth Edition, and OSR. Dungeons and Dragons Fifth Edition. Is a bestseller in the RPG world, but so is its main competition, Pathfinder. Which is an update to the D&D 3.5 rule set). Can they both coexist? Also, is 5e really old school? Let's find out together (no hand holding, though. I don't know where you been, germ carrier)! Pathfinder RPG Core Rules. I have played D&D for years. I adventured using the Basic. Was like tha...

The Dour DM: Phycomid - CR 3
http://sefotron.blogspot.com/2015/07/phycomid-cr-3.html
All kinds of 5th Edition D&D Goodness (with huge 4e archives). Sunday, 12 July 2015. Phycomid - CR 3. As you may have gathered, I have a real world love for fungi, and as such, adore all the various fungi monsters that have appeared in D&D over the years. One that seems to get looked over quite a bit is the Phycomid - a lump of slimy gunk with acid spitting mushrooms growing from it. The Paizo description. Anyway, here we go! Phycomid – Small Plant. 99 (18d6 36) [52 - 144]. 14 ( 2) Con:. 15 ( 2) Int:.

The Dour DM: Tower Shield for 5th Edition
http://sefotron.blogspot.com/2015/07/tower-shield-for-5th-edition.html
All kinds of 5th Edition D&D Goodness (with huge 4e archives). Thursday, 2 July 2015. Tower Shield for 5th Edition. Tower Shields are something I miss from earlier editions of D&D. The idea that someone might want to wield one of those ridiculously large, bulky and heavy things appealed to me, and although few characters I have DMed for bothered, it always irritated me that they didn't re-appear. Well, now they've re-appeared (though to use one properly you will need to take a feat). What do you think?

The Dour DM: New Weapon - Maquahuitl (Martial Weapon)
http://sefotron.blogspot.com/2015/07/new-weapon-maquahuitl-martial-weapon.html
All kinds of 5th Edition D&D Goodness (with huge 4e archives). Saturday, 25 July 2015. New Weapon - Maquahuitl (Martial Weapon). Maquahuitl – Martial Weapon. 2d6); Brutal 1 Vs Unarmoured. When attacking a target that is unarmoured (or has an AC below 14 despite natural armour), re-roll any damage results of 1 until you roll higher). Almost all Maquahuitl are highly decorated, often bearing sacred or protective inscriptions that guide the warrior's attacks, or keep them from harm. What do you think? 5e Mo...

The Dour DM: Jotor'Gigorim (Mountain Giant) - CR 16
http://sefotron.blogspot.com/2015/07/jotorgigorim-mountain-giant-cr-16.html
All kinds of 5th Edition D&D Goodness (with huge 4e archives). Thursday, 9 July 2015. Jotor'Gigorim (Mountain Giant) - CR 16. Not all of the "Low" Gigorim (or "non-Adaric Gigorim") are as stupid and relatively weak as the Vulgorim and Urgori. Some, such as the Jotor'Gigorim, span the gap between their brutish "common" brethren and their potent "high" kin. Jotor'Gigorim (Mountain Giant) – Huge Giant. 263 (17d12 153) [170 - 357]. 27 ( 8) Dex:. 28 ( 9) Int. 11 ( 0) Wis:. 12 ( 1) Cha. 16 (15,000 xp). Touchst...

The Dour DM: Zygom Colony
http://sefotron.blogspot.com/2015/07/zygom-colony.html
All kinds of 5th Edition D&D Goodness (with huge 4e archives). Monday, 13 July 2015. When that spaceship crashed in Greyhawk. It brought many strange and alien lifeforms into D&D. One of them was the adhesive and slightly Cordyceps. Like Zygom; a fungus from space that was embarrassing at first, and then.you know.deadly. Be too nasty.though "shouldn't" is a very relative word in D&D *evil grin*. Spell allows the target to save against the spores immediately with advantage. A Heal. What do you think?

The Dour DM: Dhampyr Homebred Race
http://sefotron.blogspot.com/2015/07/dhampyr-homebred-race.html
All kinds of 5th Edition D&D Goodness (with huge 4e archives). Saturday, 4 July 2015. Found this in my notes from last year. Thought I would share. The Dhampyr, is treated as a sub-race of another race. Choose a basic race (but no sub-race). You gain all their abilities, plus the following. Dhampyr are not truly immortal, being half-dead. They age much more slowly however, only doing so at 100th the rate of their basic race. 1 to one ability score of your choice. Feed on the Living:. What do you think?
