His yes vote to bring HB 3 to a floor vote in the state senate keeps him firmly in the DINO category. It's not that HB 3 is a bad bill- it's not- but Senate Democrats could've stalled it's passage until they got some sort of movement on teacher pay raises and more money for maintenance and operation.
