Some people are born to do something; it simply comes naturally for them. Writing was never one of those things for me but riding has always been. Like my mother, horses are just a part of me. There is nothing more comfortable than sitting in my well-worn saddle, in the show ring or just out for a ride in the country. There is a sense of euphoria there. Finally has it available?

Friday, December 14, 2012. Heart Shaped Candy Cane Lollipops. So yesterday was sort of a not-so-nice day and I was definitely falling out of the Christmas spirit. I decided the best medicine was A) do something Christmasy B) do something for someone else. The result was Candy Cane Lollipops. Candy Cane Heart Lollipops. 2 boxes of little candy canes. 1 package of white almond bark. 1 Lay out the candy canes and sticks - I used parchment paper. 3 Melt almond bark according to directions. 7 Wrap and share.
