Where the Past Comes To Life. I knew that I would! February 28, 2014. Old Filing Cabinet-The Beast. Boy, what an undertaking! Removing everything from the office to lay down new flooring was not an easy feat. An accumulation from the past 23 years was a little overwhelming. Due to the fact that the store was built in 1909 the doorways are not as wide as they are today. Then it came time to remove the four drawer filing cabinet. That should be pretty easy, right?
