We were in Tuscany, staying in a villa perched on the edge of the foothills of the alps, overlooking the terracotta roofs of Camiore. Our days were filled with trips, exploring the beautiful country- from rugged mountains, breathtaking in their majesty, to the rolling Tuscan fields festooned with sunflowers. Diams; Leave a comment. Pros of weight gain. Able to give better hugs, at the moment apparently I am not comfortable to hug at all. Getting back to uni. My hair will stop falling out and be generally in better condition. My osteopenia will hopefully improve. My anaemia might get better. I won’t have to take so many medications. I won’t be cold all the time. Going outside in the winter won’t be so frightening. I won’t get stared at in the street or get sarky comments from strangers. Cons of weight gain.

Thursday, 23 December 2010. Well, I got my first university rejection today. De Montfort Uni in Leicester. It was my first choice and everything. Well pissed off. Leicester would've been ideal because I would've been on placement in hospitals I know. I've still got to hear back from a few, and the latest I'll know is May, so it's not horrendous. I'm just a bit dis-heartened to see my first choice declined. Happy Christmas dear readers. (Does anyone actually read this? And have a happy new year!
