Adventuras de España

Sunday, June 27, 2010. I had some amazing tea. It was red tea with green tea and fruit, called "Silueta." I absolutely loved it. A few people did smoke hooka, however, that was one experience I was fine with passing up. Still, I am surprised at my smoke sensitivity here. I think i may have built up a bit of strength against it now. considering it is everywhere! After our night admiring the Alhambra from afar, we were able to actually walk through it today! Adventuras de España: Did we really just do that?

http://www.crandallita.blogspot.com/2010/06/did-we-really-just-do-that.html

Sunday, June 20, 2010. Did we really just do that? Everything was absolutely gorgeous in the church and I have never seen so many tombs in my life. After our tour, some of us went to the gardens to eat lunch. SO beautiful! They had some of the maze-like buses and roses and a gorgeous view of the mountains. I was not thinking mountains when I thought Spain (though truly I don't know what I thought). After a little round about of the city ( I LOVED the city! I could totally live there! We had a hairdryer t...

Adventuras de España: Super Guay

http://www.crandallita.blogspot.com/2010/06/super-guay.html

Tuesday, June 15, 2010. I don't know if it was the relaxation at the beach or what. I have had the great past day and 1/2 or so. I was practically giddy in class (though that could've been due to lack of sleep). Monday morning I met the new chica of our house-Maria! She is from ITALIA and is here by herself. She is 17! Una chica valiente, no? Still, she gave me several names of great places to go that are not full of tourists and "super guay" young people Spanish for "very cool" (me gusta!

Adventuras de España: Italica

http://www.crandallita.blogspot.com/2010/06/italica.html

Friday, June 25, 2010. I’m not going to lie I so wish I could’ve fought someone. One of my friends on the trip’s birthdays is in Halloween so we have been talking about how we are going to have a party, and I decided that day that I wanted to be a gladiator for Halloween next year. I’m pumped! I really want to watch it now and see if I see them. I wish we could have spent more time there, but we were running behind. Seriously these past few days have been like speed Spain. We also climbed 37 fights to th...

http://www.crandallita.blogspot.com/2010/06/we-pasard-noche-bien.html

Wednesday, June 9, 2010. We pasar'd the noche bien. Great day. Started the day off with a great breakfast as usual (I crave my cafe con leche with galletas). We made it to class on time today (YAY! We listened to traditional flamenco, as well as some newer interpretations and fusions of music. My favorite was CHAMBAO. Check them out! So we jumped on the Metro and made the trek over. It was cold an raining, but refreshing after so many hot days. Honestly for my allergies it was PERFECT! I will be travelin...

http://www.crandallita.blogspot.com/2010/06/cordoba-and-first-day-in-sevilla.html

Wednesday, June 23, 2010. Cordoba and first day in Sevilla (poquito tarde). Well we are in our hotel in Sevilla but our Internet is not working so I’m going to write my blog and post it when I can. Today has been a bit of a blur but it has been wonderful! We had about an hour bus ride until we made a quick stop at the windmills that were pare of the famous Spanish novel Don Quixote! It was absolutely beautiful! After some helado we headed back on the bus for another two hour bus ride or so to Sevilla!

That and finding some framers that will give us a fair price. The Utah building market is booming, which means that bids are sky high because there's so much work out there for builders.
