In a Waverly World: September 2013

Tuesday, September 17, 2013. Iza ny anaranao chips? In official Malagasy is, loosely,"What is your name? Literally, it is "Who the your name? But that's neither here or there. What's funny about this particular phrase is how Waverly chooses to use it. She doesn't know much Malagasy except some basics that Chandler and I have taught her: greetings, please (and thank you and excuse me - all one word in official), and how to ask for someone's name. Oh, and "Avia! So, as a last "hurrah" as the Snyder family ...

In a Waverly World: July 2012
http://thelittlesnyderfamily.blogspot.com/2012_07_01_archive.html
Tuesday, July 3, 2012. No surprise here that I'm just now posting photos from almost a month ago. It was 9:30 am, 75 degrees, and Waverly wanted to swim. So swim she did. Happy, swimming girl! And singing to songs she doesn't even know. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. Shout Out to Moms. Ask and I Will Make the Nations Your Heritage. It's been a while. Snyders in Mada: September 2014

Wednesday, September 3, 2014. This Is How We Do: The First Day of School. 1 September 2014 will go down in the history books as the first day my schooler spoke her first French words. She couldn't remember them by the time we got home and tried to pass off a movie quote with a French accent as French words, BUT I was witness to her legitimate French utterances when I picked her up from school. Except there wasn't time to talk to her teacher. Because the car wouldn't start. And we had to walk....As we wal...

Monday, April 2, 2012. I have to post birthday photos before I can post photos of our Disney trip! I'm a little behind. Day at the Newport Aquarium. Then, we partied! Me and my second favorite little girl. Love this succession of photos. Something catches her eye. Moves Em out of the way for a better look. Waverly had a BLAST at her "cupcake birthday party". :). Snyders in Mada: This Is How We Do: Haircuts
http://snydersinmada.blogspot.com/2014/12/this-is-how-we-do-haircuts.html
Thursday, December 18, 2014. This Is How We Do: Haircuts. Before we moved to Africa, I had two concerns: haircuts and birthdays. I mean, those weren't my only. Two concerns, but they were the two concerns I never inquired about because they seemed quite petty against all of the other major life adjustments we would be making. There were questions I had. To get answered, like:. Q: What do I do if we don't have a doctor near us? Fortunately, we have an amazing. Understandable because he has great hair.

Snyders in Mada: August 2013
http://snydersinmada.blogspot.com/2013_08_01_archive.html
Friday, August 16, 2013. In almost 27 years of life (27 in November. At what point is it "all down hill from there"? That's what it feels like, anyway), I've never physically experienced growing pains. Hard to believe, right? Topped out at 5 feet on a good day. My joints never hurt as my limbs elongated because, quite obviously, they've never really elongated. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. http://maggieandcoleman.blogspot.com/2012_12_01_archive.html
Tuesday, December 18, 2012. With a Heavy Heart. Teddy is FOUR months old now! Can you believe it? He's growing up so fast on me. Here's his 4 month picture. We went to the doctor last Thursday, the 13th. He said he is perfectly perfect. He weighed 14 lbs, 13 oz (40th %). He was 25 3/4 inches long (like 80th %). His head size was like 90th %! Mommy's long and lean little boy! Teddy is also daily doing new things! He has discovered his feet BIG TIME. He loves to roll around on the floor and grab at them.

Thursday, July 12, 2012. Man it has been a WHIRLWIND of the past few weeks! I am officially blogging this from Frankfort! We also had three, count 'em, THREE baby showers the past few weekends. My friends threw me one, Coleman's side of the family, and last my family. We got lots of good stuff! Thank you very much friends and family for doing that! The hospital bags are (almost) ready to go. Just waiting on his arrival! I would've been so lost. Nursing is like a full-time job in and of itself. Before we ...
