Good news in my life though…I’m a contractor no more (well, as of this coming Monday anyway). I’ll be a permanent employee at the job I’ve already been doing for three and a half years for less pay and crappy benefits. . That ranked right up there with the time I told a customer to have a good weekend and this is what he replied with:. 8220;I will do my utmost to fulfill your weekend wish for me and hope that you will do the same.”. Ummmm, wouldn’t “You too” have sufficed? I do have arthritis in my ankle...

Thursday, September 30, 2010. Listen to this one. Tonight, I sent my two older kids off to youth group. They love going and they get to see all of their friends from summer camp. I sent them off tonight, without a second thought. Around 7 PM, the phone rang. It was the youth leader, she said, "I don't want to alarm you, but D.'s been hurt.". I guess they had some kind of an race, and had to jump over things, can you tell where this is going? He jumped, and landed on his arm, and Yep, he broke his arm.

While, I do love hockey, there are some aspects to it that, occasionally, I do not look forward to. like my schedule for this week:. Hockey Practice (son D. ) 7-8PM. Hockey Practice (son J. ) 5-6 PM. Running meet 3-4 PM (Son J. ), Soccer Banquet (Son D. ) 6-8PM, Hockey practice (Son D.) 6:15-7:15 PM ( wait. isn't this a time conflict? Catholic youth group (sons B and D) 6-9PM. Maybe I can sit down? Cause, I'm the mom.

Wednesday, September 29, 2010. STILL not sleeping well at all! And to top it all off, I woke up with a sinus headache! Even my neck hurts. UGH! I have faith things will get better, I will adjust to this new schedule. Thank goodness for adaptability (something I am especially skilled at). I'll mention some positives in my life currently. (this is a good exercise for me, as I seem to have been born the eternal pessimist, but I digress):. 3 J my youngest, is reading! Cause, I'm the mom. J (My 8 year old son).
