This iteration of the dish, called by its right name, spaghetti carbonara. Is bacon and eggs on pasta. In the spirit of my roommate, I tolerate no fripperies here. Cream? No Red pepper flakes? No Even pancetta is too much for me- it's better with American-style salty pig bits. Just pasta slicked in bacon grease and egg yolk. You know you love it. Start water boiling for pasta.

Wine Country Dreamin’. July 6, 2011. Skirt is, simply, the most flavorful of all the cuts of beef. It out-shines any steak even rib-eye and this is coming from a committed, fat-loving carnivore who will publish two meat books this year alone. Mise-en-Place: Season the steaks the night before (you are essentially dry-brining them). Pull the parsley and oregano leaves from the stems and make the chimichurri sauce (without the vinegar) 4 to 6 hours before serving. 3 pounds skirt steak. From → Recipies.
