As already explained on the main page, I picked up an interest in mechanical calculators like one picks up a flu virus on a cold wet day - by accident. As you can see from the picture, I was born in 1878 (well, give or take a hundred years.). My education is in the chemical field, and I specialized in x-ray crystallography. Currently, I teach chemistry to prospective chemical industrial engineers, in combination with research. For contact information, see the "Contact me".
