Monday, December 30, 2013. Meridian Hops - Tasting Notes. A single-hopped Meridian Pale Ale is up for tasting next. These were 6.7% AA pellets that I got from Hop Heaven from the 2012 harvest. Pellets had aromas of apricot/peach with some dankness. The nose of the finished beer is predominately nectarines and apricots. There is also some pine and some dankness. Labels: Hop Tasting Notes. http://criticaltastings-beer.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
Tasting notes and reviews of premium beers. A Critical Tastings. Friday, January 28, 2011. In my glass today is the Sierra Nevada Kellerweis. This is their year-round hefeweizen. The Kellerweis pours up a hazy, golden-tan color with a thick white head. The nose detects fruit, grass and Eurolager notes. Posted by Eric Branchaud. Wednesday, January 26, 2011. Beer!: Long Trail Double Bag
http://criticaltastings-beer.blogspot.com/2009/12/long-trail-double-bag.html
Tasting notes and reviews of premium beers. A Critical Tastings. Tuesday, December 15, 2009. Long Trail Double Bag. Long Trail Brewing Co. Bridgewater Corners, VT. Double Bag is a potent brew at 7.2% alcohol, but it is very well-balanced. Drink this one in moderation, because it can really sneak up on you. Double Bag is a slightly hazy in the glass with a deep amber color. To me, the aroma of this beer reminds me of walking through a brewery. The nose is sweet and malty with a touch of hops.

Tasting notes and reviews of premium beers. A Critical Tastings. Monday, May 30, 2011. In recent years, Pabst Blue Ribbon has been seeing a bit of a resurgence in a trendy counterculture "trailer park chic" sort of way. The question is, does PBR live up to the hype, or is it just another mass-market lager with little redeeming quality? Let's taste and see. Posted by Eric Branchaud. Friday, May 20, 2011.
