Saturday, June 6, 2009. Xian Day 2 April 24 (Cont'd.). After lunch, we finally went to visit the Terra Cotta. After going through the entrance, we had to walk a little while through what seemed like a park to reach the actual museum. One of the museum's buildings. One of the famous Terra Cotta. Chariots and horses. This part of the museum was not very. Well lit and it was extremely crowded, as was the rest of the museum. Because of this, I couldn't get a good picture. Saturday, June 6, 2009. Xian Day 1 April 23. On Thursday, I woke up at 8 am, walked to Chinese class and left early to catch my train at 1:15 pm. For some reason, the conductors in China take the passenger's tickets and replace them with cards that are switched back for the ticket before leaving the train. The conductor did this with my ticket, but I wasn't surprised since Wentao warned me about this beforehand. My bed is in the middle right corner of the picture. Some of the scenery on the way to Xian.

I had a good back-up word but it just wasn't the word that called to my heart. "This. This is what you need to do in 2013.".
