Thursday, March 06, 2014. Close Encounters of the Crocheted Kind - Meep and Stella. I love to play Scrabble and joined an online gaming site a while ago just so I could play it without any of those dang annoying ads. I've learned how to play lots of other games at the site as well. When someone at the site made a graph with which she created a Perler beaded coaster, (out of one of the characters from one of the games), I knew I had to try and crochet an afghan by doing the same. I named her Stella. The d...

beck's blog: Autism wiggly trivet
http://peskypixie.blogspot.com/2015/01/autism-wiggly-trivet.html
Sunday, January 25, 2015. This is a crocheted wiggly trivet using seven colors of size 10 crochet thread. It's a "frame" of puzzle pieces surrounding a puzzled heart in the center. Please click on the photos to enlarge them). Each puzzle piece is shaped like a person. (Except for some inside the heart. I couldn't make all those the person shape). The last photo is of the back. If you make one of your own this will help you. Posted by Becky at 11:07 AM. The people shaped puzzle pieces are fantastic!

beck's blog: Genie and Simba wiggly Trivets
http://peskypixie.blogspot.com/2015/04/genie-and-simba-wiggly-trivets.html
Friday, April 17, 2015. Genie and Simba wiggly Trivets. When Robin Williams died, I wanted to make a crocheted genie in memory of his wonderful life and talents. I decided to make a wiggly trivet. It was really hard and I don't think it turned out very Robin-Williams-esque. But I tried. (Please click on the pictures to enlarge them). While I was at it, I made a Simba wiggly trivet too. Sand art picture that Rafiki, (that wise monkey guy), draws on the rock in the beginning when Simba is born. Baby Animal...

Crochet Magick: August 2009
http://crochetmagick.blogspot.com/2009_08_01_archive.html
Adventures in a Creative Life. Monday, August 31, 2009. A Bluebird Purse and fall projects. The beak is made of two pieces crocheted into V shapes and sewn, overlapping, into place. I crocheted the wing separately and sewed it into place. It covers the pocket which is shaped like an egg and crocheted in another Vanna yarn. Onto a piece of blue felt and sewed it onto the other side of the purse. Posted by Mindy Shuman. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). I did National Novel Writing Month! And then the sun and.

beck's blog: Pop Tab Purse
http://peskypixie.blogspot.com/2015/04/pop-tab-purse.html
Wednesday, April 22, 2015. I made a pop tab purse this time recycling lots and lots of Pop can pull tabs and crocheting them together. (Please click on the photos to enlarge them). I used Lion brand Bonbons yarn in their Party colors. (It comes in a small 8-pack of little 2.8 oz. sizes. It has metallic threads twisted with the yarn.) I also used a hideous ring with an amber stone in the center and two on each side for the closure. A carbinger keeps it closed. The lining is hand-sewn into the purse. View ...

Sunday, March 02, 2014. Baby Animals Afghan - Team Sasquatch - Winter Olympics Games 2014. This year for Ravelry's Ravellenic Winter Games 2014, I joined the Team Sasquatch and finished up an afghan I started a while ago but had never finished until now. I had wanted to make a tunisian afghan using graphs made for filet crochet. I also wanted to use two different patterns and pick out and match up the animal graphs from each pattern into one blanket. Design 915 and Design 7757. Since I finished my UFO pr...

http://twognomes.blogspot.com/2006_11_01_archive.html
Wednesday, November 29, 2006. My neighbors tree, I thought it looked nice with the sun making it kinda pink. I went out on the deck for a cig and this grouse was in my tree. He is really bigger than he looks in this picture. Posted by Schell at 9:31 AM. Tuesday, November 28, 2006. Finally I blog, 1 month and 1 day since my last post.
