We would like...
The Crockpot Alchemist!: Teriyaki Drumsticks
http://crockpotbbq.blogspot.com/2008/07/teriyaki-drumsticks.html
Sunday, July 27, 2008. Slight change of plans here. I was going to make teriyaki. Pulled pork, but then I got invited to a poker night. I thought it might be easier to play hold em with chicken drumstick in hand as opposed to trying to tackle a pulled pork sandwich, generally a two handed job. However, I stayed true to my mission of making it teriyaki. 25 skinless chicken drumsticks. 3 tablespoons Chinese five-spice powder. 1 tablespoon light brown sugar. 1 teaspoon smoked paprika. Sauce over the top.

The Crockpot Alchemist!: BBQ Beef Follow Up
http://crockpotbbq.blogspot.com/2008/01/bbq-beef-follow-up.html
Monday, January 28, 2008. BBQ Beef Follow Up. I'm also encouraged that people have found my blog. I really still don't understand how blogger operates. I tried to find other BBQ blogs on Blogger, but I couldn't find a search function that would enable me to look for other people. If anyone has any thoughts about this, please share because I would like to read other BBQ blogs. I wanted to put the recipe up for this in case somebody else wanted to try to make it. One really great thing about Crockpot.

Slow Cooks: Ditching the Blue Box: Homeschooled Mac and Cheese
http://slowcooks.blogspot.com/2009/03/ditching-blue-box-homeschooled-mac-and.html
Poor Students on Crock (Pots). Ditching the Blue Box: Homeschooled Mac and Cheese. Finally a chance to try my all time favourite meal, macaroni and cheese! Which has proven to be an invaluable source of inspiration. I would suggest some slight alterations, but it is a pretty solid recipe and worth the try for a healthy tose of cheesy comfort goodness. 500g uncooked elbow macaroni (uncooked, SWEET! 4 cups of milk (other recipes call for evaporated milk, but I just used 1%). 1 tsp dry mustard. This women i...
Slow Cooks: Not Your Mother's: Peach Crumble
http://slowcooks.blogspot.com/2009/04/not-your-mothers-peach-crumble.html
Poor Students on Crock (Pots). Not Your Mother's: Peach Crumble. Really wish I could have gotten some pictures up for this recipe, because as my Citizen Journalism class. Knows, IT IS DELICIOUS. So delicious in fact, that it was devoured before I could think to take any pictures. Ass kissing? Teachers are like armies, they march on their stomachs.or something. Another plug for Beth Hensperger and Julie Kaufmann's Not Your Mother's Slow Cooker Cookbook. But this time for peach crumble. 1 tsp baking powder.
Slow Cooks: Macaroni and Tomato with Sour Cream Cheese
http://slowcooks.blogspot.com/2009/04/macaroni-and-tomato-with-sour-cream.html
Poor Students on Crock (Pots). Macaroni and Tomato with Sour Cream Cheese. I love cheesy pasta, and I wanted to give crock pot pasta another chance after the success with the Homeschooled Mac and Cheese. Not quite a casserole, but definitely cooked pasta. 300 grams of uncooked macaroni. Slightly less than half a stick of cream cheese. 1 cup of sour cream. Additional vegetables ( I threw in some mushrooms, onions. Cover with tomato sauce. And chunks of cream cheese. And stir with extra vegetables. Slow co...
the bench: Thanksgiving
http://benchmason.blogspot.com/2009/11/thanksgiving.html
Thursday, November 26, 2009. Well, the truth is, I forgot to get any pictures of the food. Not that people like to look at pictures of food, but Thanksgiving is one of the few holidays which seems to be centered around eating (Halloween and Valentine's Day being the others). But since everyone except Robyn, Keith and Ava were here, Greg took a bunch of pictures of people. So, here are some of them:. This is just the "snack" side of things. Hanging out after dinner. This is our house. Amy and Chuck Keeler.

Thursday, April 30, 2009. Terrible People doing Terrible Things. Or Brothers and Sisters, where.ah, you know, it's not even worth it. But I watch snippets and think, how can these writers not see how the one normal, considerate, kind character they have, they try to make him look like a crazy greedy Republican whatever. It's just a little bit stomach turning. I'm such a killjoy. Sunday, April 26, 2009. Land of Time XLVII? What other industry is so resistant to their customers actually accessing. Here are...

Saturday, June 12, 2010. Jack's Birthday and Such. Well, Jack "graduated" from kindergarten. Thank goodness he passed metalshop. Aerin was only there for the free cookies. Sometimes, not knowing how the hell to operate your camera can result in cool pictures. Gwen likes to sit with people like this, just sit and hold their ears. Drives Apryl crazy but Halle seems to like it. Jack wanted to go bowling for his birthday. He's really pretty good. Hooray, a spare! He also got a scooter, a Hot Wheels scooter.

http://benchmason.blogspot.com/2010/03/its-been-long-time-long-time.html
Saturday, March 27, 2010. It's been a long time. A long time. But, we were outside today, all day, doing yardwork, which I hated when I was a kid/young adult, and now that I have a house, I still hate, but hate while doing. Anyway, to alleviate the drudgery, I took some pictures. I've always thought that my kids are much better looking outside, when the natural sunlight can interact with their eyes and such. Jack is a character. This is some version of Calvinball. Aerin knows kung fu. Amy and Chuck Keeler.
