Urban Mystic Lifestyle: January 2008
http://urbanmysticlifestyle.blogspot.com/2008_01_01_archive.html
Spirituality, Culture and Me. Thursday, January 31, 2008. Everybody Plays it Sometime! When I was a child, I used to watch Bugs Bunny cartoons. Who am I kidding? The fool is the beginning of the Tarot deck. Instead of starting out with the number one, the deck starts out with the number zero. There is a deeply mystical reason for it starting with zero, but simply put, the Fool card represents unlimited potential that hasn’t manifested yet The number zero means nothing right? You get a thousand! The dange...

Urban Mystic Lifestyle: April 2008
http://urbanmysticlifestyle.blogspot.com/2008_04_01_archive.html
Spirituality, Culture and Me. Friday, April 18, 2008. The Pope, The Hierophant and Earth Day. On the news I saw some guys cheer the Pope like he was Ozzy Osbourne. I never realized how popular the Pope was. Although I grew up Catholic and my mom is Catholic, they never mentioned to Pope at all. Or, at least I don't remember. I wonder how much the Pope has an influence on the daily lives of Catholics in NYC? POPE BENEDICT XVI ARRIVES IN NYC. Will Visit Park East Synagogue Friday Evening. At JFK, the ponti...

Urban Mystic Lifestyle: Mantra discipline
http://urbanmysticlifestyle.blogspot.com/2008/07/mantra-discipline.html
Spirituality, Culture and Me. Tuesday, July 15, 2008. I have been doing a new mantra practice that I have been trying to continue for forty. Days I knew from my biblical studies and my esoteric studies that 40 was the number of testing and judgment – it rained for 40 days and 40 nights, Christ was tempted of Satan for 40 days and apparently the Buddha was under the Bodhi tree for 40 days before he was enlightened. B) I am noticing some significant changes right away (a lot internal and external). Great t...

Urban Mystic Lifestyle: December 2007
http://urbanmysticlifestyle.blogspot.com/2007_12_01_archive.html
Spirituality, Culture and Me. Thursday, December 27, 2007. Saturn Returns to Le Figaro. On December 19th, I had the pleasure of attending a meeting of the New York Mythology Group. This is an informal group led by Phil Robinson which is created through Meetup.com, a website devoted to having meetings of like-minded people all around the country. Meetup.com is not limited to groups based on mythology. You can probably find a meetup group devoted to any interest you have. Posted by Anthony Williams. Saturn...

Spirituality, Culture and Me. Tuesday, August 5, 2008. The Buddha teaches us not to believe anything just because someone tells us that it is true. Have I ever had a genuine thought of my own that wasn’t generated or influenced by culture, my parents, etc? Posted by Anthony Williams. September 8, 2008 at 11:46 AM. Anthony, Amy just told me she ran into you.hope Austin is treating you well. September 4, 2009 at 9:32 PM. Your blog about sweet freedom is so nice i am really very impressed here.

Urban Mystic Lifestyle: Urban Mystic Reopening!!!
http://urbanmysticlifestyle.blogspot.com/2012/02/urban-mystic-reopening.html
Spirituality, Culture and Me. Tuesday, February 21, 2012. I decided after a pretty long hiatus to reopen my blog (with some encouraging from my girlfriend). I was having loads of thoughts, opinions and spirituality that would not fit into a single FB post. I have had a spiritual curiousity as of late, and I felt like exploring again and not being afraid of verbalizing the things that have been gurgling up in me for quite awhile. The pot has been boiling and this is the steam so to speak.
