http://chreod.blogspot.com/2007/02/whats-inuit-word-for-snow-of-death.html
Deep Thoughts, Bike Culture, Radical Cranking. Thursday, February 15, 2007. What's the Inuit word for 'snow of death'? You know how it is said that the Inuit have a hundred or so different words for what we generally call 'snow'? If anyone has any suggestions for a substitute name for Death Snow, lets hear/read it. Finally, we are coming to Ottawa friday through tuesday. Hope to hang out some for sure. Posted by Matt with the hair. Http:/ www.mendosa.com/snow.html. QUOTE "Inuit Words for Snow:. It is a p...

Chreod: Fixed Wonder
http://chreod.blogspot.com/2007/03/fixed-wonder.html
Deep Thoughts, Bike Culture, Radical Cranking. Thursday, March 1, 2007. Ok, so after some time away from posting on nerdy stuff, I'm back with some more. I'm working on a paper about something called the 'politics of emotion' in relation to photography. This is intended as a contribution to my thesis, which centres on the multitude of ways photography (re)configures selfhood, memory, and time - the BIG question is about the ecological import of this reconfiguration. When our first encounter with some obj...

Chreod: April 2007
http://chreod.blogspot.com/2007_04_01_archive.html
Deep Thoughts, Bike Culture, Radical Cranking. Tuesday, April 17, 2007. After l leave school I plan to have my last dinner at my/our favourite place, Aux Vivres, a vegan restaurant on St. Laurent. This was the first space Ronan spent time in after leaving the birthing centre. She slept through that, which only happened one more time in the many visits since. So after that, its game on - I plan to go for a 100k ride later in the day. Kidding. But I do hope to swing by T&L Thursday evening.

Deep Thoughts, Bike Culture, Radical Cranking. Wednesday, February 7, 2007. Poem of the Day. I'm not really into poetry in a big way, but I really like this poem I encountered in a reading this morning. A barrel of dynamite. A line is a fuse. The line smoulders,. The rhyme explodes -. And by the stanza. Is blown to bits. Posted by Matt with the hair. To each their own. February 7, 2007 at 12:42 PM. Jamie Pold is into poetry. February 8, 2007 at 4:40 PM. Matt with the hair.
