Athlete of the Month: Amanda Strite. I have been at Crossfit now for 19 months. Didn’t really change my eating habits until the last 8 months. Before Crossfit I tried it all — the Gym, Pilates, and BAM. I have stayed with Crossfit so long because I never feel like I plateau. I love the loud music, the intensity, the encouragement and most of all, I like throwing stuff around! I basically can do everything except for a pistol and pull-ups and I’m working on that! Anything that doesn’t include running.
