Sapelo Sister: Remembering Theresa
http://sapelosister.blogspot.com/2014/08/remembering-theresa.html
Sunday, August 10, 2014. I found Theresa too late. I met her when I was in the seventh grade at Immanuel Lutheran School. In Alexandria, Va., and we became best friends. We started a theater club together and a school newspaper, and the summer after our middle school graduation, we both auditioned and got accepted at Duke Ellington School of the Arts. In Georgetown. Her major was theater; mine was music. We loved to talk about both. We found common ground in musicals - Hair. Mixed Media by Michele Nicole.

Sapelo Sister: 'Home' by Toni Morrison
http://sapelosister.blogspot.com/2013/08/home-by-toni-morrison.html
Friday, August 9, 2013. Home' by Toni Morrison. If you're looking for something that's a quick read, but that also has many thought-provoking layers and symbolism, try Home. It is the story of Frank Money, a Korean War veteran who must journey from Seattle home to Lotus, Ga., through the treacherous landscape of a cruel and unjust segregated America and his traumatized mind, still grasping at the horrors of combat. Sapelo Sister: Brunswick Stewdio
http://sapelosister.blogspot.com/2015/06/brunswick-stewdio.html
Friday, June 5, 2015. My family will be shocked to learn that that thing piled with stuff is actually our dining room table. Come see where I now draw, sew, design, paint, and do whatever the artist within me wants to do. I have a workspace at Brunswick Stewdio, an art co-op, opening tonight during First Friday, in Historic Downtown Brunswick, Georgia. More than two dozen artists have come together for an awesome creative experiment. Walk in the door, and you'll be moved to make something.
