Musings on Sesame Street: May 2008
http://littlewan.blogspot.com/2008_05_01_archive.html
Musings on Sesame Street. Charting the Journey of Two Little Wans through the Unbiased Eyes of their Mommy. Wednesday, May 21, 2008. Make Way for Toddler Mikhail! As much as I’d like to live in denial, I can’t. Our son is no longer a baby. There’s no way we can swaddle Mikhail, with his long limbs and superhuman strength. Babies can be cradled in our arms. Mikhail will humor his parents and let us do that for 3.5 seconds before he wriggles free. Babies nurse and eat mush. Babies are easy to control.

Musings on Sesame Street. Charting the Journey of Two Little Wans through the Unbiased Eyes of their Mommy. Wednesday, September 10, 2008. Merdeka 2008 was spent very pleasantly. In the morning, while Daddy was still sleeping, Mommy and Mikhail got ready for our play-date at Nadrah’s place. I wanted to have a look at the scrapbook materials she sold while Tracey wanted to get some shots of our boys. We had a lovely time there. Especially Mikhail. Everything his heart desired was under one roof. Another a...

Musings on Sesame Street. Charting the Journey of Two Little Wans through the Unbiased Eyes of their Mommy. Saturday, January 30, 2010. And this time, it's for real ( (beam) ). Yes, it's been almost a year since I last blogged on "Musings on Sesame Street". Almost a year of Wan Mikhail's life undocumented. Almost the entire era of the Terrible Twos without evidence. *sigh*. Wan Mikhail Wan Syahrul Amry is now THREE (3) Years Old. He's sooooo your son. It was bedtime. He's all snuggled up with me but ...

Musings on Sesame Street: July 2008

Musings on Sesame Street. Charting the Journey of Two Little Wans through the Unbiased Eyes of their Mommy. Monday, July 14, 2008. Wan Mikhail's Public Performance at a Music Store in Kuala Lumpur a couple of months ago. The small crowd surrounding him didn't seem to faze him one bit. This was taken via Daddy's mobile phone so forgive it's lack of clarity. Mikhail has always been a big fan of drums. No matter how we try to get his attention to other instruments, he would make a beeline for the drums.

Musings on Sesame Street: November 2007

Musings on Sesame Street. Charting the Journey of Two Little Wans through the Unbiased Eyes of their Mommy. Wednesday, November 28, 2007. Wan Mikhail's 1st Birthday Bash. Our baby turns 1. As all parents agree, that's an occassion to be celebrated :). I wanted to have a small birthday bash with friends and family, preferably one where we can all just eat while the kids swam and played and just. you know. be merry! And alhamdulillah, it turned out as I imagined :). Mikhail's had "wanmikhail" on it. I was ...

Musings on Sesame Street: Learning to Let Go
http://littlewan.blogspot.com/2010/02/learning-to-let-go.html
Musings on Sesame Street. Charting the Journey of Two Little Wans through the Unbiased Eyes of their Mommy. Sunday, February 07, 2010. Learning to Let Go. Mikhail has never been sent to nursery, tadika, playschool or even a playgroup. Ever. The only playgroups we've had are those which we arrange with our own friends. Mikhail sat on the floor with everyone and seemed calm enough, but 2 minutes into it, I could see his face harden and he started inching away from the circle. Then he caught my eyes, sl...

Musings on Sesame Street. Charting the Journey of Two Little Wans through the Unbiased Eyes of their Mommy. Tuesday, September 25, 2007. Things I Hope I Never Forget About Baby Mikhail. It’s so cliché I’m almost embarrassed to repeat it… but honestly, kids grow up so fast! He’s no longer my little baby… He’s a big boy… Swiftly reaching toddlerhood. I’m so proud to see how far he’s come and how much he’s grown…. But with that pride, there’s a bit of wistfulness as well. Kids really do grow up so fast!

My thoughts and my journey through life's sweet path. Laquo; Week 38 – The waiting begins. November 14, 2011 by whimsicaljottings. Woke up at 5.10am, feeling menstrual cramps intermittently throughout the night. Felt like doing a number 2, and saw that I had a pinkish show. Sat on the throne and saw that I released a glob which I assume is the mucous plug. Now the only thing is, bubs has not engaged. Which worries me, as if I go into active labour, I’d have to go thru an emergency C-section. Get every ne...
