Writing for CyberSpace: Reflection Collins

http://cyberreaderdaphne.blogspot.com/2008/04/reflection-collins.html

Sunday, April 6, 2008. In Collins' article "A Friend Game" she begins by setting up an idyllic. Scene of a neighborhood. And the friendships that go along with that. Then your thrown into this other world of lies and deceptions, a place where no one "really" liked each other. Someone in the article compared it to the Desperate Housewives neighborhood. It was all fake in real life and as it was on the Internet. I don't want to sound void of emotion because I do feel that what happened to Megan was terrible.

Wednesday, February 27, 2008. 1 Familiarize yourself with the topic. My topic: Why do we feel the need to be someone we are not on the internet? 2 Identify some questions. Why are people going on sites such as myspace and facebook and posing as someone they aren’t? What types of people (age groups) are being attracted to these websites? And what is it about the site that attracts them and makes them want to open up? Is there a thrill do it? Do they get something out of it? What are the dangers? Http:/ an...

Writing for Cyberspace: Blog 11: Consequences

http://jaclynberry.blogspot.com/2008/04/blog-11-consequences.html

Monday, April 14, 2008. Teachers need to be aware that they can be held responsible for all the information they post online. Students, or even school administrators, can get access to their pages and if they feel that they are reading inappropriate material, action may be taken against the teacher. Let's review the consequences of the previous cases. Is it fair for them? April 14, 2008 at 11:36 AM. Or only those two? April 14, 2008 at 11:37 AM. I agree with Daphne. Letters To A Young Poet: Letter Four (by Rainer Maria Rilke ). Worpswede, near Bremen. July 16, 1903. About ten days ago I left Paris, tired and quite sick, and traveled to this great northern plain, whose vastness and silence and sky ought to make me well again.
