Norton Yer Life: December 2012
http://nortonyerlife.blogspot.com/2012_12_01_archive.html
EXTREMELY Carefully Considered Thoughts from a Random Mind. Sunday, 30 December 2012. We had a very nice (but all too brief) visit over Christmas from our son and his wife. They went home on 27th December. After the cup defeat at Ossett Town and a postponed league game at Market Drayton, Belper Town returned to action against Sheffield FC at their ground in Dronfield on Boxing Day. I turned to Snapper Harrison and said "I don't think that's a penalty." and then felt an almighty shove in the back from...

Norton Yer Life: December 2011
http://nortonyerlife.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
EXTREMELY Carefully Considered Thoughts from a Random Mind. Friday, 30 December 2011. That's the sound of the last week and a bit flying by! So - here's a catch up. Anyway - Chesterfield came to the rescue. I've said before that it is way better than Sheffield! A relaxed Christmas came and went - nice pressies as ever but the nicest bit was the fact that we shared it with our son and daughter in law. Norton Yer Life: Hmmmm Looks Like My Readership is Larger than I Thought!
http://nortonyerlife.blogspot.com/2013/03/hmmmm-looks-like-my-readership-is.html
EXTREMELY Carefully Considered Thoughts from a Random Mind. Wednesday, 13 March 2013. Hmmmm Looks Like My Readership is Larger than I Thought! My "Disappointment" post from earlier today has reached a wider than intended audience it seems. Someone has lifted it and posted it on the Belper Town forum. In fact - I am genuinely amazed that I have a wider readership than I ever realised. Google Stats certainly doesn't reflect that. Seems like its more trouble than its worth perhaps. Usually Dazed and Confused.

Norton Yer Life: A Busy Week!
http://nortonyerlife.blogspot.com/2013/02/a-busy-week.html
EXTREMELY Carefully Considered Thoughts from a Random Mind. Sunday, 3 February 2013. Since my last note - the snow disappeared almost overnight Saturday into Sunday last weekend - the visit from our Norwegian customer went extremely well and a concert at Sheffield City Hall was very enjoyable. (OK - it was Ronan Keating but to be fair - I quite like his music! Http:/ www.flickr.com/photos/timharrisonphotography/sets/72157632652937574/. Tuesday - collected the visitors from their hotel for more discussion...

Norton Yer Life: November 2012
http://nortonyerlife.blogspot.com/2012_11_01_archive.html
EXTREMELY Carefully Considered Thoughts from a Random Mind. Thursday, 22 November 2012. Thanks big time to my mate Andy who found a DIMM (memory chip) had come loose from its mountings! He's re-seated it and also given the machine a good owd tidy up, removing 3 years accumulation of dust. My only defence is I couldn't figure how to get the casing off the PC so couldn't clean it! Not only DIY I'm scared of! And the thought just occurred - why does "DIMM" seem somehow strangely appropriate? Having lost 2 g...

Norton Yer Life: I Hate Winter! (but it could be worse!)
http://nortonyerlife.blogspot.com/2013/01/i-hate-winter-but-it-could-be-worse.html
EXTREMELY Carefully Considered Thoughts from a Random Mind. Thursday, 24 January 2013. But it could be worse! I got an e-mail from a customer/friend in Sudbury, Ontario, Canada overnight. Apparently, the temperature there was minus 46 yesterday (and that's degrees C not F.). He says that around 1100 cars wouldn't start because the batteries were frozen! And we're complaining about Minus 3! Opened my pressies which included Seb Coe's autobiography, Jess Ennis' autobiography, (note the Sheffield connection!

Norton Yer Life: October 2012
http://nortonyerlife.blogspot.com/2012_10_01_archive.html
EXTREMELY Carefully Considered Thoughts from a Random Mind. Sunday, 21 October 2012. Almost Time to Head for Home. Currently in a Holiday Inn Expresss hotel in Bentleyville Pennsylvania having driven here from Bellefontaine Ohio earlier today. The trip is almost over and it has been an eventful and frustrating one but I'll tell you about that in a bit. Right now we need a footy update. We went to the Carlton game and guess what - another draw! Then today - yet another draw! Monday - flew back to Toronto,...

Norton Yer Life: Here Endeth The Lesson....
http://nortonyerlife.blogspot.com/2013/03/here-endeth-lesson.html
EXTREMELY Carefully Considered Thoughts from a Random Mind. Thursday, 14 March 2013. Here Endeth The Lesson. I am closing down the blog. It has become more trouble than it's worth. It's been fun - for the most part - but if I want to say what I truly feel, think and believe, then that cannot continue to be done here. The upside of this is that I can change the sub heading back to it's original form and truly record the "Random Thoughts Of A Random Mind" without fear of stirring up trouble or controversy.
