Alarm went off at 4am but got up at 4.30am. I could hear the sound of the rain from the tree hut. The tree hut had a mossie net but with lots of holes. I got up at 4.30 and hoped to cycle all the way to Trimcomlee but I was on the road by 5am cycling and it was an easy road but I did not make the distance and I ended up only doing less than half the way. Arrived and went to three different hotels and decided to stay at the Nelly Star. It looked the best of a bad bunch.

The day started with a good road then half way got really bumpy from H…… onwards. The route was easy and picturesque. The Road in the morning after 40km of cycling. There seemed no sign of war and all the shops were open. I know this is bad but I do not know what day it is today. The pension owner training children.
