Team SBR only had 4 riders in the "B" Group with a few teammates going up to the "A's". Dave, Ian, Matt and myself rolled out to contend the 13 laps, 26 mile race. Great job by my teammates. Not too much has been happening but there has been some significant things since my last post:. 6/8/08 - After getting dropped from the Mill Creek Crit in Youngstown, I decided to lose about 20 lbs. The Adventures of Rick. Saturday, November 1, 2014. Edinburgh Cross Race 2014. My first (and only so far) cyclocross race this season. Ironic what happens when you work at a bike shop you don't get to race as much! For some reason the sand pit owned me that day.I didn't get through it clean once. The bunny hop over the log at 18-20 mph was my redemption! This was my first race on the Wilier and the bike is fantastic! I'm not getting rid of the Ritchey Ti Cross but this Wilier is sweet! Matt's a U23 (SBR).

The Adventures of Rick. Tuesday, November 29, 2011. Turkey Shoot Cyclocross Race. We have only just started 'cross season here. Something about racing in above 80' weather makes it tough to think about doing cross! This race is a favourite of mine; it's in Tampa (close), it's a technical course and it has great views of Tampa bay. My race (45 ) was at 9:30am and I was picking up Tony do it was a 7am leave the house time. Showed what I felt.I didn't leave anything out there. Here's some photos I took.

I left my job at Finn Marketing for the Sales Manager position at Chainwheel Drive bike shop in September, traded in my beat company minivan that I bought cheap for a used 2009 Mini Cooper,. Retired the Ellsworth Scant and am riding a 2012 Specialized S-Works Venge. I did the Horrible 100 also (more on that later) with folks from Gearlink and the MCC crew. Matt's a U23 (SBR).
