Surfen - Rancho Burica. Met een "eigen" break voor de deur en 3 spots binnen een kilometer van de Rancho is Punta Banco lang een zgn. secret spot geweest. De gasten van de Rancho surfden er samen met die ene local uit het dorp en hier en daar nog een verdwaalde gringo en that's it. Gezellig, gemoedelijk maar vooral goed! Ontdek de Costaricaanse jungle te voet of te paard op een van de trails in de omgeving van de Rancho. Je ziet veel dieren zoals apen, vogels en als je geluk hebt een luiaard.

Het complex heeft zo'n 20 slaapplaatsen in de categorieen: simpel, goedkoop en nauwelijks beschermd tegen ongedierte tot en met ietsje luxer, ietsje minder goedkoop en goed beschermd tegen ongedierte. Alle cabinas hebben een fan, douche en toilet. Per overnachting ben je tussen de 5000 en 12000 colones (tussen 7 en 18) per persoon kwijt afhankelijk van met hoeveel je bent en in welk huisje je slaapt. Mensen die langer dan 10 dagen blijven krijgen ook nog eens korting!
