Knit one, read two...: Would you eat here?

http://cyndimartin.blogspot.com/2010/10/in-this-past-phase-we-had-menu-project.html

Knit one, read two. Thursday, October 21, 2010. Would you eat here? In this past phase we had a menu project to do. I don't guess we had to do them for the same restaurant but I think that most of us did. I did. I totally got into it and just elaborated on my daydreams. I'm not sure about the first lunch menu but all of the others got 100%. That makes me happy! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). St Louis, MO, United States. View my complete profile. Knit one, read two...: Merry Christmas!!!

http://cyndimartin.blogspot.com/2012/12/merry-christmas.html

Knit one, read two. Wednesday, December 26, 2012. This is my first Christmas away from Julianne. It's been hard but I guess it won't be the last one. Due to a very bad job market in St. Louis I packed up and moved to Thomasville, NC with my sister. It's not where I want to be but I'm having much better luck finding a job! I stole this from Julianne's Facebook page. I love it! January 17, 2013 at 3:01 PM. What a cute pic! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). St Louis, MO, United States. This is the 3D me.

Knit one, read two...: How I spent my summer vacation......

http://cyndimartin.blogspot.com/2012/06/how-i-spent-my-summer-vacation.html

Knit one, read two. Saturday, June 9, 2012. How I spent my summer vacation. I am working this summer as lead baker/lead breakfast cook at a 4-H camp. In Lincolnville, Maine. I've been fascinated with New England for years and I HATE summer weather in Missouri. This is going to be a great experience! One bus stop was in Philly. Portsmouth, New Hampshire! If you've followed my blog long and remember the menu project. You will understand just how thrilling this was! She also drove me past LLBean in Freeport...

Knit one, read two...: Camp's Favorite Bread

http://cyndimartin.blogspot.com/2012/06/camps-favorite-bread.html

Knit one, read two. Saturday, June 16, 2012. The staff inhales it as quickly as I make it! The bought bread is largely ignored and is probably destined to be croutons or bread pudding very soon. We won't have campers for another week but I think they will like this bread, too. I am having computer troubles and can't share a picture from this borrowed one, but I will post a picture as soon as I can. 15 cups leftover cooked oats. 25 cup warm water. 125 teaspoons active dry yeast. 15 cups whole wheat flour.

LovelyKnits: September 2012

http://lovelyknits.blogspot.com/2012_09_01_archive.html

Welcome to my mostly-knitting blog! Wednesday, September 12, 2012. It's perfect for those chilly autumn days when you want to just curl up with a shawl and a book. I used similar construction to a triangular shawl, but made it with three sections instead of two. It stays on my shoulders much better, and has a lot more fabric to wrap around myself. I designed this with Knit Picks' new bamboo blend in mind. I think it will look amazing in Galileo Yarn. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile.

Welcome to my mostly-knitting blog! Saturday, April 27, 2013. Aslan has defeated Jadis again! I have been feeling recently like I live in the place where winter never ends(Jadis-era Narnia perhaps? I would plant my garden now, but I'm leaving tomorrow to go visit my family in Kansas! Kansas, where it's almost summer already. Maybe when I get home in a couple weeks, there'll be some leaves on the trees. ☻. Monday, April 15, 2013. Harmony is not pictured on the cover, but is inside. Friday, April 12, 2013.

LovelyKnits: March 2013

http://lovelyknits.blogspot.com/2013_03_01_archive.html

Welcome to my mostly-knitting blog! Tuesday, March 26, 2013. After the t-shirt upcycle I did in a previous post, I came up with a crazy idea. I wondered if I could combine the technique with the knitting technique of cabling. I had to wait until I could get to the thrift shop to get a junky old t-shirt that I wouldn't mind ruining. The thrift shop near here is only open on Tuesdays, so I went today and found an XL tunic-length t-shirt. So, if you want to try this out, you'll need:. 8594; sharp scissors.

Welcome to my mostly-knitting blog! Tuesday, September 3, 2013. Oh, hi there! It's been a while! I didn't mean to, but I ended up taking the summer off from blogging. I also took the summer off from knitting, and schooling my kids. I helped our contractor in the basement, and schlepped the kids to summer sports, and not much else got done. It was a busy summer. Today is our first day of school. So here's our "back to school" picture. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). I knit. I design. I sew. I buil...

LovelyKnits: Halfway

http://lovelyknits.blogspot.com/2013/06/halfway.html

Welcome to my mostly-knitting blog! Thursday, June 6, 2013. So yeah, it's been a while. Since my previous post, I've finished a few projects, started a few more, taken a trip to Kansas to visit my family. and reached the halfway point in my weight loss journey! That's right, I've lost 30 pounds! Here is me, at 150 pounds, on June 1st. I'm liking my legs much more this year, so I'm planning on wearing a lot of shorts this summer. And shorter shorts than I used to wear too! View my complete profile.

Welcome to my mostly-knitting blog! Tuesday, February 24, 2015. Oh, hi there. again! So I'm still here. I didn't realize it had been this long since I'd done any blogging. Looks like I need to update a bunch of things around here. First of all, my girls are now 13, 10 and almost 8. We're still homeschooling, and loving it. We still live in the middle of nowhere in North Dakota, but we're trying to have a good attitude about it. January Socks for my sister. Slippers for Princess - February Socks. My Patte...

LovelyKnits: May 2013

http://lovelyknits.blogspot.com/2013_05_01_archive.html

Welcome to my mostly-knitting blog! Friday, May 3, 2013. My Unconventional pattern is up! This pattern comes with two versions; both use short rows for shaping, and one has cables. It's a tricky pattern, and not for the faint of heart. If you choose to knit it, you should first have a solid grasp of cabling and short rows, as well as reading your knitting. Because it's very easy to get confused. Is available on Knit Picks, for $4.99. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. Knit one, read two.

LovelyKnits: February 2013

http://lovelyknits.blogspot.com/2013_02_01_archive.html

Welcome to my mostly-knitting blog! Friday, February 22, 2013. Too busy to blog.until now. Well, hi there! I used some lovely Malabrigo Sock yarn in "Velvet Grapes", and my own pattern, Hunter Socks. I made these ones a little longer in the leg than the original green ones. They're very soft and comfy, and are making my aching feet and ankles feel a little better. Friday, February 8, 2013. So this past Sunday, I asked a Facebook friend (who is a Zumba instructor) if she had any recommendations for Zumba ...
